yea i used to work for cingular. and it really is a fucked up ass company. they dont give a damn about their customers. when at&t got bought out by cingular. at&t customers got skrewed over. all the good shit was for the "new at&t " aka cingular. they made customers migrate their shit over and pay money only to later become at&t again. shits pathetic. then when u demand a supervisor and they pretend like they care, they only hang up to clown on ur phone call with the rest of the representatives at the call center. and yea they aint allowed to unlock ppl cellphones. they used to make us tell the customer they had to call the manufacturer and they would do it. just to get them to stop calling. it also depends if u get a nice rep. i used to help ppl and give em credits just for bein polite and not complaining about the hold time.
^you ain't never lied.....I've had the same phone number since my phone service was from Pacific Bell......shit went from that to Cellular One to ATT to Cingular then back to ATT......the first ATT was hella good to me, I had a nice plan and shit was lovely....never went over my minutes, all the good shit....then they switched to cingular and kept trying to get me to switch.....I didn't until my phone fucked up and then after paying insurance for dumbass long they give me a piece of shit razr and tell me its a top of the line phone.....my nokia phone that I had for years before that ran circles around that skinny piece of shit.....I got a 8525 but I had to go thru hell to get it.....although after the countless hours on the phone with them I got $200 knocked off the phone, a $300 credit to my account and a free razr.......but still I've had nothing but problems since the switch
yeap..... u wouldnt believe the shit ive seen happen to customers when a merge takes place. its some bullshit. after workin for them i kinda realized " customer service " is just a big joke. i know wut u mean. the old at&t had good cheap plans. promotions all that bullshit. and ppl were able to keep that. but once they wanted to upgrade to a different plan it was either u merge over buy a phone stock price sign a new contract get a more expensive plan with the same minutes u have now OR keep ur plan u have now even if u aint happy. if u dont like those 2 options then i guess cancel ?
i really felt bad for the customers. cause their quick to fuck u over and trash ur fuckin credit. u know its funny how cingular is alwyas tryin to compete with verizon for that yearly award they have or w.e ... but they still treated their fuckin customers like shit. or alot of at&t customers who finally got talked into merging since they needed a new phone like urself. couldnt because cingular had a more demanding credit rating. shit was just a big fuckin joke.
remember that shit they would put on comercials " at&t biggest network in america with free mobile to mobile, talk to millions of ppl on our network for free " pfffffft lol that was all bullshit. alot of customers would call upset cause their bill was like 600 dollars due to overages. theyd say " but i only talk to cingular customers the comercial said i could " then ud have to tell them. ur an old at&t customer not yet part of the new at&t or cingular so u dont have that feature. so theyd want credit. but cingular refused to give them any. unless they had a business acount.
lol i got sprint and ever since they merged with nextel. its been givin me problems. i call them and foos just dont know wtf to do transfer me all over cause im on the new platform or wutever. it irritates me. my phone wasnt workin for 2 fuckin days because they couldnt figure it out. till i got a smart person. im ready to cancell.

yup.....I was trying to get my multimedia messaging fixed yesterday and I figured "I'll just start with the internet since they're probably more tech-savvy then the people on the phone......oh how wrong I was.....I get this stupid ass bitch named amber who doesn't really read my question linking me to the wrong ass information after waiting hella fucking long to talk to her ass.....then I tell her that aint it so we go thru hella bullshit only to have her tell me almost an hour later that I gotta call customer service :ermm: so I get to wait on the phone for them to pick up and deal with one of the reps who can't help me for like 20 minutes, then I get transfered to tech support where I gotta wait for a rep then they figure out after hella fucking long that they can't help me either.....so now I got a "ticket" and someone will "look into it" and call me back :ermm:
