so Lurch basically kept it real?
I've also learned that people don't want you to keep it real. They want you to be the realest dude on record but don't want you to do any of that stuff. Ask C-murder or DMX. You have to do something like Lil Wayne or Ti that lands you in jail for a year or less and come back and make a record about it.

i say let dude walk. he'll do it again if he was guilty the first time; that or he'll never do it again cuz it was truly an accident. that 2nd person is just going to be a sacrifice im willing to take to see if he is truly guilty or not...

I don't think they are to blame per se but does the music really serve a purpose? There's no real good answer as far as allowing free speech but stopping the promotion of things that may promote things that may seem to encourage people to do stupid stuff. That was a subject I brought up on GOM, was rap/hip hop damaging American society? Some agreed, some didn't.

I'd almost think that a something in him wanted to do that before the drugs. USually people on drugs will do some stuff they wouldn't ordinarily do, but that's usually to get more drugs, like prostitution or theft, not eating a beezy
well in that case censor all music, movies and any kind of violence on TV and video games....even the internet

people like violence just as long as they arent the victim...

as a society we enjoy being shocked and terrorified to all forms of media...yet when it hits us in reality all of the sudden it brings pure outrage and people crying out for censorship....there are nut cases that take shit to far and whether of not music, or movies etc..played a role doesnt mean everyone should suffer for a few peoples actions...the people that commit insane crimes are clearly twisted to begin with...i dont think lurch meant to cannibalize someone, but i do believe the drug he chose to do let him down that road...

people need to be accountable for their own actions and stop trying to pin blame everywhere else

nutcases take it too far in music and in real life. Talking about killing and eating babies on a record isn't cool and it's not cool in real life. I think nearly everyone would agree.
killing is part of reality, the fact that its glorified in rap could be an issue...not so much these days....but in the 90's when "gangsta" rap was on top...again more shock value...what could i say to get a buzz to help elevate my career?

and funny enough....i know people that dont listen to rap but know who lynch is and know some of his songs....only because what he talks about on SODS.....
hell even i used to barrel fuck my x bitch

Murder and lawsuitOn April 10, 2002, 25-year-old Singleton murdered Tynisha Ysais in her Los Angeles, California, apartment.[3] Her boyfriend Thomas Moore testified that he and Singleton spent the evening prior to the murder smoking PCP.

The victim was found in her apartment by her friend Alisa Allen. Her chest had been torn open and a three-inch blade was found broken off in her shoulder blade. Tooth marks were found on her face and on her lungs, which had been torn from her chest. Eyewitnesses reported that when Singleton was picked up by police, he was naked, covered in blood, standing in the middle of the street and screaming at the sky. A medical examination performed shortly after his capture found human flesh in his stomach that was not his own.[1]

On November 7, 2003, Singleton was sentenced to life in prison.[3] He had been convicted of murder and aggravated mayhem the previous June after pleading not guilty by reason of insanity at the time of the murder. The court ruled that his intoxication and claimed insanity were not satisfactory reasons for committing the crime.

In 2004, Stress Free Ent. and Black Market Records released a solo LP on behalf of Singleton, It's All Bad. Features included Killa Tay, C-Bo, Lil Keke, Roger Troutman II and Too $hort.

Ysais' mother, Carolyn Stinson, filed a wrongful death lawsuit against Black Market Records, Singleton's record label. The label, in similar fashion, has put out albums for X-Raided while he was awaiting trial and eventually convicted of murder (Xorcist, Unforgiven, Vol. 1, etc.). The suit charged that the label had provided Singleton with drugs "to encourage [him] to act out in an extreme violent manner so as to make him more marketable as a 'gangsta rap' artist."[1] "Part of what makes a Gangsta Rap artist marketable is the fact that the artist is a current ongoing participant in violent gang activities," the lawsuit said.[1]

He is currently serving his life sentence at California State Prison, Los Angeles County in Lancaster, California. He has spent the last 4 of 5 years in solitary confinement. He was recently transferred to California State Prison, Sacramento (SAC).

If Lurch would take more responsibility for it I would say a sentence less than life in prison may be appropriate. If you look at this website and read his interviews though, he wants to pin all the blame on these people that were "forcing" PCP on him. In those same interviews he admits to being addicted to PCP long before that though, because of a back injury he sustained. They may have been enabling Lurch but he had done the shit plenty times in the past on his own. He wasn't "slipped" PCP as he is trying to lead people to believe.

That's like me being a raging alcoholic and then I start hanging out with people who also drink and they feed me a bunch of drinks, then I hop in a car and kill somebody driving drunk. They may have played a part in what led to the death of this person, but I'm the one who killed this person and need to shoulder responsibility for it.

It's totally fine for Lurch to use that as an explanation for what happened, but he needs to say I did this shit and am responsible for what happened. Instead he just blames other people. Pathetic.
