I actually think this a good thing for Gore. He'll be ready for the season opener and he won't have to risk further or more serious injury in a sorry ass preseason game!

It will also keep his legs/knees fresh. This is almost what LT does without the getting injured part...

Ladanian Tommilson is sitting out the pre season so he doesnt get injured. Also atleast its his hand, he can still do cardio to stay in shape and there isnt much rehab involved.
