Bosniaks are muslim. when someone says Bosnian, 99% of the time they're talkin about Bosniaks. Other groups of people, Serbs and Croats, live in Bosnia and Herzegovina, but most of the time you wouldnt call them Bosnian, you would call them Bosnian-Serbs or just Croats. I got a real close friend from Bosnia, she came over as a refugee during the war. I know the war was more complicated then just religion but religion/race was the main dividing factor between the different factions. Basically the Serbs are a bunch of pricks. Its kind of like the American Civil War, people will say that was caused by slavery but it was much more complicated then that but it does basically come down to slavery.

There are alot of Serbs who live in Bosnia that identify themselves as Bosnian. All Bosnians are basically Serbs just some of them are Muslim and some are Christian( and then there are some Croats who are different than both of them).

You only got one side of the story from your refugee friend and i doubt he would have nice things to say about Serbs, just as a Bosnian-Serb wouldn't have nice things to say about him.
