I like to think that you are right, but i have my doubts. There is plenty of evidence right NOW that a god does not exist, but that isn't stopping 85% (as of 2005) of the human population from thinking as such.

Although, this number is down from 96% just 5 years prior, so maybe you are right.
Compare 2009 to 1909. Look how rapid society/technology has advanced.

Well I would agree slightly with u but human societys has had some of the worst genocides in the history on man between these 2 dates, Nazi/Urganda for example.

Theres a lot more things I could point out about the human race to prove that we are not so civilized or advanced as we think we are but we could be sitting here all day with that shit.

I would just say religion gonna be here for longer then 250 I would think but maybe im wrong.

What does these have to do with people having faith in deity's?

It has eveything to do with it....

You agreed with the other guy that posted..."Compare 2009 to 1909. Look how rapid society/technology has advanced."..saying that becuase us as human being are having "rapid society/technological advancements" that some how religion well die out. Im saying all those advancements aint got nothing to do with the human beings having faith or being religious so how would any social/technological advancement make a difference?. Further I was pointing out that all these advancements dosent make people anyless savage(I.E people in this century being mass murdered over "RELIGIOUS" beliefs) making another point that your threoy of "advancements" is wrong. And even further most of the technological advancements are military and if you want to use social advancements as an argument to say religion will die out I was just pointing out we havent came very far in society either, using the genocide of the 20th century as an example.

Does that make more clear of the point I was trying to make...im not the best writer

Either re evaluate your life, or put something out there like everyone else except you does so that we can all berate you on the flaws in your argument.

and i've been to france. those people HATE all muslims. i talked to some arabs from northern africa (algeria) in paris and they let me know the real deal. the french hate anything that is not french in nature. an arrogant disdain for the rest of the world.
I have some friends that are from France, two whites, one with an arab backround, two with a African backround. How can they be racist...Not all French people are the same...

true that. but still though, i stand by my experience because i traveled all over france and stayed in a smaller city (dijon) before getting to paris. i'm sure your african homie and arab homie will testify to france's dislike of anything not-french. being of african or arab background surely worked against them, much more so than it would in america. all based on my opinion, so feel free to challenge it.

i could also be spouting the most ignorant shit ever. this i am fully aware of.

I think it always has to do with where you are and with what kind of people you get in contact with. I would hate if some people would visit Germany and go to some small towns in south/east Germany and come back basing their opinion about the whole country on that experience...

I have a friend who went to the US as an exchange student and lived in a small ass town with a family that was pretty racist. He came back hating the States. I on the other hand love the States, cause I had quite different experiences...

I was asking legit questions.

Telling someone to "re evaluate your life", all the while following that person around and commenting on everything they say...hmmmm....kettle, color black?
