Not suprisingly, you have missed the point.
LOL...oh yes, it is I who has missed the point. SMH

Why do you keep reiterating that youre an athiest?
Wow, you are dense to nth degree.

Nobody gives a shit, nor is it relevant to what we are talking about.
And this is why the argument stops HERE, with you LOSING and not, without any surprise to ME or to anyone else im sure, comprehending ANYTHING i have said. Get a clue, dipshit.

would call "fuck islam" an intelligent statement?
DOH!

Yes, people are free to change their views, but that doesnt make it any less hilarious when a holier than thou character like i puko...does it.
The funny thing is, it is YOU who has proclaimed me "holier than thou". SO I have to live up to YOUR expectations? Pfffffffffffft...who the fuck are you?

I would have treated the post the same if it were christianity/judaism etc. I am not a muslim, i have no interest in protecting any religion.
And you STILL don't get it.

I puko is in his thirties.......he was at a reasonable age when the serbia conflict was happening...that would mean he pretty much didnt see one news report/paid no attention to what was going on in the world for 5+ years, im sorry, that is just laughable for a guy like that
YES

Did you miss the part where i said i DON'T watch the news??? Do you have selective reading problems?

**Waits for i puko to give props to mr. nice guy**
I am still baffled as to WHY you are so concerned and obsessed with what I do and what I say. Its gone past the point of flattery, to the area of downright creepiness. Back up off my sack, son.

that was a joke right, Mr. Athiest?
Oh my this one is beyond the point of help.

huh? How could this be? You havent said anything other than asking me what posting those quotes was supposed to mean, then you went into a nonsensical rant about how you are athiest and how you have a right to discuss religion.

So what is it exactly that you have said that i didnt comprehend? Oh wait thats right, youre the guy on the siccness that NEVER SAYS ANYTHING OF SUBSTANCE and then tries to belittle people who catch on to this by making it seem like they are just too stupid to understand.

oh forreal?

GOD this is fucking hilarious
SO the internet, MTV, newspaper, and magazines are watching the news? Really?

Did you ever stop to think that news stories are also brought up at work by co-workers? At dinner by family members? Or maybe my girlfriend was watching the news at some point in our 2 years of living together, that I may have caught something in passing?

Just because i don't WATCH the news by my own will, does NOT mean I cant know what is going on to SOME DEGREE in the world through other means.

Your critical thinking skills are terrible on a good day.

1) Knowing current affairs is no indication of intelligence just like memorizing history lessons doesn't make you any more intelligent. There is a difference between educated and intelligent, an intelligent person would know that.
Wrong.

Intelligence is the rate and capacity at which one learns. So if you can learn things at a quick pace and retain that knowledge then you would be said to have a high intelligence.

So it stands to argue that anyone that knows current affairs and retains that information would be labeled intelligent because they have shown the capabilities of retaining that in their mental capacities. And seeing as how current affairs are worldly it would show a certain degree of intelligence and foresight to not only learn them but to equate them into one's everyday life.

And your last statement is considered a FAIL *and* irony. You tried telling us what intelligence was but failed. And educated person isn't necessarily very intelligent as it can take one years to learn the subject matter thus showing a low degree of intelligence.

3) You have missed this over the course of all these posts so I am going to make it blatantly obvious for you; substitute Christianity, Judaism, whatever, for Islam in the original post.
Not really.

Name one large Christian or Jewish group of peoples migrating into another Islamic country and threatening their 'way of life.' I personally wouldn't be able to find an example.

And yes, I suppose we can all "theoretically" imagine such a scenario but because the inverted sociopolitical scene in France is not the same in any other country...such an argument has as much validity as me saying, "Replace Aliens from the planet Xandu with Muslims."

AND

@ Cante up:

I recently saw a youtube video of a bunch of little froggies talking about how in the United States we're all stupid and how we lack education. I guess you didn't attend one of little Frenchu bourgeoisie schools because you should know that The Louisiana Purchase didn't give the United States all of the west. LOL! The land purchased reached only north eastern portion of modern day New Mexico.

Ever heard of the Treaty of Guadalupe Hidalgo?

Damn...people on the Siccness are fucking stupid.

Are you fuckin serious?

So do you think Christianity was not forced upon millions of people or that they never had crusades.

And being that your Mexican I would think you would know the history of your ansitors. Spaniards came thru the American continents and raped and killed natives and forced Ch ristianity upon them, why do you think so many mexicans are Christian or Catholic.

Oh yeah and after Europeans took over North America they set up schools to "re-educate" a.k.a beat the shit out of um natives and teach them how there culture was evil and explained why the should convert to Christianity.

Here is just one example of that>>>http://www.malakota.com/lak_ista.html

WTF are you talking about? WTF do you know about those schools, i bet your mama would love if you were educated like people who come from those schools.

At the age of 19-20 people from France (in average) know way more things (its called general knowledge) than the average kid of the same age in USA thats a fact! There are exception of course(i dont think youre one) and education and knowledge has nothing to do with "intellegency" in some way.

The original Louisiana didnt go to LA (OK) but

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Louisiana_Purchase

The Louisiana Purchase (French: Vente de la Louisiane "Sale of Louisiana") was the acquisition by the United States of America of 828,800 square miles (2,147,000 km2) of the French territory Louisiane in 1803. The U.S. paid 60 million francs ($11,250,000) plus cancellation of debts worth 18 million francs ($3,750,000), a total cost of 15 million dollars for the Louisiana territory.[1][2][3]

The Louisiana Purchase encompassed portions of 14 current U.S. states and 2 Canadian Provinces. The land purchased contained all of present-day Arkansas, Missouri, Iowa, Oklahoma, Kansas, Nebraska, parts of Minnesota that were west of the Mississippi River, most of North Dakota, nearly all of South Dakota, northeastern New Mexico, the portions of Montana, Wyoming, and Colorado east of the Continental Divide, and Louisiana west of the Mississippi River, including the city of New Orleans. (The Oklahoma Panhandle, and southwestern portions of Kansas and Louisiana were still claimed by Spain at the time of the Purchase.) In addition, the Purchase contained small portions of land that would eventually become part of the Canadian provinces of Alberta and Saskatchewan. The land included in the purchase comprises around 23% of the territory of the United States today.

The Treaty of Guadalupe Hidalgo has nothing to do with it, like i said France was then an Empire with financial problems and was attacked and threatened by a coalition of differents enemies.

*sigh*

Another plebe trying to match wits with me...

The Crusades were started BECAUSE of Muslims invading Christian kingdoms, you moron. Why the fuck else do you think Christian countries that were predominantly Christian stopped their wars with one another? How about this...you read on the history.

And in the context of what I said and the reply I was giving...it was pretty obvious I meant in modern times. Of course we could bring the Christinization of the America's, Japan, Africa, etc.

But these would be irrelevant to the point being argued.

No.I don't think she'd love for me to go to those schools.

As a matter of fact I'm sure she'd rather I would have gone to the best ranked schools in the world. American schools like Berkeley, Stanford, USC, etc. I think England (Not France has 2 up there. But the money wasn't there.

And the point being made is that the Treaty of Guadalupe Hidalgo gave the United States the western portion of their territory. Something you would know if you knew history.
