So i found this sidekick 2 on the bus right , and ive already come to the conclusion that im gonna sell it , no im not gonna use his or minutes or fuck up they plan , im jus gonna sell it . my question is.. what if the person reports the phone stolen/lost? then what happens? the phone can not be re activated?

I asked one of my friends the same question and at first he was like just remove the "sim" card , but i looked on the net and the sidekick data is not on there but in the internal memory on the device...

Any help would do

i didnt pocket check anyone^^^^ i really jus found it on a seat , it was on yesterday but when i looked at it today the battery has ran out, so i couldnt even answer if someone tried to call they phone . i mean if they woulda called i woulda been like yea i got it come get it when you can, but by the time i find a charger for it and cut it on , there service will prolly be off by then ..... but i was thinkin most people dont report they phone stolen , they just tell them to cut off the service because they lost there phone

thats only when folks have a getro they dont call it in stolen....i wouldnt buy it though its to much of a risk to buy a phone on the street except if its a getro...

but on a side note, if u wanna be honest u could bring it into a T-Mobile store and they could find the owner based off of the IMIE # on it
and turn in a sidekick for free? i could understand if it was sprint and they were like " ok were gonna give you a discount on ur bill " cuz i dont even have t mobile service

ok so what u said a post up there , the sidekick has gsm , so the smart thing to do is sell the sidekick witout the sim card , and have the ppl put there own in and then there straight?

lol the day u lose yer phone you'll see how it feels...

you would HAVE to sell it w/o the SIM because a sim can't be reactivated

I guess it's just a difference in how folks are raised that's all....I'd turn the shit in...
