How long does it usually take you to go through a box of Sampler's? I have a box of Strange Music 08 and a box of the Prozak/Tech samplers. I also have a decent sized box with 7900 Prozak fliers. I'm just curious as to how long it takes you guys work them. I've been promoting since Everready, but I got some good tips from Crossed Eyed Joe, so I'm gonna put them to good use.

Were you at the Worcester show? Did you see the group of kids that are promoting Prozak's album? You could have done that. Yeah, the MBTA has lots of traffic, but more of those people are going to see the cd and either push it onto the next seat or throw it on the ground.
If you have the Prozak/Tech samplers, you go up to the person and be like 'hey man, check this out...Prozak's debut solo album Tales from the Sick comes out June 3rd, and Tech N9ne's album title Killer comes out July 1st' and show enthusiasm. Make them a little excited, they may not care, but if they show interest, tell them more about it. You can personalize the greating however you want, but if your just leaving the cd's on seats, most people that are on their way to work, or to school or whatever aren't going to take the time to read any of the shit on the sampler.

i also was downtown giving every music shop a bunch of samplers.. going around talking to people about the album but most people didnt show much interest unless they already knew Tech...
fact is thousands of people are on those trains 24 7 i think theres a good chance someone will pick it up and give it a listen
also, how is it any better to hand out promo shit at a Tech show? id think mostly everyone there knew about his new album...
