nowadays quarterbacks.
are pretty and protected. im gonna just let his play speak for itself. but reality is j-russell looks good and is the man i feel to lead us back to excellence. a little cushion isnt hurting nobody. in the 60's and seventies 75% of nowadays qbs wouldnt have lasted four games. and yeah its 2008 but j. russ looks ready for action is my point. linebackers aint fuckin with him physically. hopefully d-lines get a push because thats the only way your gonna bring down that monster. he looks like big ben and derrick anderson with more athleticism and the strongest arm in the NFL. and hes dedicated. to me he has the whole package.
al davis is getting old no doubt and probably isnt as sharp in his older age, but the man is a football legend and knows football. saying hes the worst owner in football is a hater comment. yeah, he should let his coaches have more controol but at the end of the day he wants to just win baby. thats all i could ask for!

i think the question really is what would any other owner of done in terms of rebuilding after that superbowl loss. Al definitely didnt know Gannon would break his neck and look like christopher reeves in a booth watching his team play. The only real issue i guess they could have addressed better is improving the offensive line. Obviously none of our qbs did much these past 4 seasons but it seems like its hard to find a decent qb these days
