I went fishing today...saturday. I kept 4 trout although your allowed to keep 5 here. Iv been smoking them and they taste good that way. I goto a lake thats on the border of California here, it's called Applegate lake. They stock this lake with tons of trout and once the sun goes down they all come to shore. On a good day i keep around 11.
yeah.. they raise the fish at hatcheries til they're 10-12 inches than they release hella of them in the lakes from trucks. iv never wittnessed the truck dumping them in the lake but im sure its kewl. also they stock trout they call 'trophy', they are abuot 6 inches longer but alot fatter. iv only caught a couple of the trophy ones this year but they're alot nicer and plumper, but they dont release as many of these ones. also i only fish from the shore so its alot harder to get the good fish.
lol....im always down to drink&fish....its too hot lately all the bigger fish are goin deep down during the day....but miller park is always good for schoolie stripers....also if you have kids or you are a kidnapper, william land park and elk grove park have been turning good size cats lately...they stockin it every weekend too....i gotta buy sum lanterns so i can start goin at night tho, malt liquor and 100 degree fishin is not the biz, a couple of weekends ago i was out of mind on painkillers and tall cans and didnt realize i was gettin sunburned the fuck up.lol
