my uncle gave me and my nephew a urban legendz sampler that he had gotten at a concert and listened to the last couple songs because i thought those were the best. it was breathe and ima playa. i thought those were sick as hell. so i looked into it more found out it was tech. i bought anghellic and ap and now i'm hooked.
My friend and I were out drivin the back roads chillin sippin some beers and he said yo man u gotta check this out. He popped in AP and switced to Imma Playa, i know it overplayed but, I thought it was tight. But fuckin Yada Yada Yada got me interested man. That fuckin CD blew my mind away. I haden't heard anything like it before. I lisented to that cd nonstop for the rest the fuckin wekkend Soon the rest of our friends started istening to AP. I fuggin kid you not, everywhere I went my friends would be bumpin AP. The original CD my friend had has prolly been copied over 20 timesby now, i bought my own. Whether we were just chillin, cruisin, goin out to party, we had tech in the player. For 2 years straight that was what we listened to. Its crazy to think that if my friend haden't threw in AP that glorious day:cheeky: , I may have never heard tech. I know this is getti to be a fuckin letter

lol when i was like 11 or 12 and my brother gave me a whole bunch of CD's he didnt want lol.. a jay-z one.. dmx, notorious big and mase.. and "the worst"(burned).. at then i didnt understand.. but then as i got older.. i found the CD case again in a box full of old shit.. put it in.. and i was like fuck yes.
In 2001 my cousin burned me a mix cd and he put Planet Rock 2 K on it and he told me to check this guy out. I listened to the track and when I heard the opening lines "You want me to jam I'm finna enta Brain waves came from insane days Make ya sick like bad mayonnaise Tech N9ne." I was hooked like a prostitute on crack. Ever since then, I've been bumpin his shit. Tech is one of the only few rap artists I listen to and respect.
the first time i heard some tech ish was when i ditched school wit my older bro when i was a freshman. it was planet rock off the first anghellic. and my homie recorded tha album on tape cuz thatz all he had in his car. after that, i went to go get that shit and heard that shit almost everyday till absolute power came out....i still compare every rap cd that comes out to anghellic....havent heard one to top it tho.
