First speeding ticket, fucking sucks

You should have just paid the ticcet off...its cheaper. You would probably pay $65 to $85 (at the most) for a 75 in a 55mph zone, and your traffic school would be like $45. I really don't see the point of fighting it...people fight ticcets if they don't wont their insurance going up and points on their driving record...but you dont have to worry about that cause traffic school will clear it completely, plus its only one day..
Ummm out here.. you get a ticket and unless youre seriously contesting it.. you mail your fine in with a copy of your ticket... done deal.
Same with Washington and Oregon.... lol.. yes, I've gottena ticket or two in my day.....
My folks were driving out here from Texas and got a ticket in Colorado or some shit-- same deal.. they just mailed in their money to pay the ticket.

I got a couple tickets in Marin and the main judge is a BITCH. I was fighting a non-moving violation and EVERY SINGLE PERSON who tried to fight a speeding ticket got rejected AND the judge ordered a 1 MONTH SUSPENSION on almost everyone's DL. One dude was a truck driver and was like "ive been in every state and I've never heard of this- is it a mandatory law?" N she said nah she just felt it necessary. I was like shit thank god I aint fightin a speeding ticket. I guess if u just pay (dont contest) it though u only talk to the people at the desk who all seemed hella chill.

yeah ive gotten maybe like 6 speeding tickets and i just go to court plead no contest and pay the fine. It usually come up to like 100 bucks maybe 120. You just pay it and your on ur way but you get a point on ur license. Unless u dont want that point u pay a little bit more and get to go to traffic school and clear it. Your insurance wont go up or none of that shit because the police dosent report a ticket to the dmv until everything is handled and if you go to traffic school they dont send the info to the dmv so your insurance never knows you got a ticket. I reccomend you go to traffic school smoke a bowl before you go in and another bowl when u go on break. Whatever you do dont do i online that shit is a waste of time. Ive been pulled over for a bunch of bullshit tickets got my car tooken away a couple times and got pulled over for speeding many times. Once by an undercover car cause i was doing 110 on 101 but the good thing was that fool just cussed me out and let me go. Ill take the verbal abuse rather then the ticket though.
You sure about those rates? I was thinking I'd get fined around $280 or in the mid 200's. If that's the case with your opinion on the rates, I'll pay those no prob and take the online traffic school, I heard it's common sense and easy as fuck. After I was pulled over and I went towards the bridge and I saw at least 4 more fucking troopers within 2 miles and a few bike cops. I travel from santa rosa to fremont and santa cruz sometimes and I rarely see cops. The one time I go at night I get caught up, fuckers. I was suppose to leave a day earlier too dammit.
70 in A 55 you will pay about 130.......and go to court u can usually get the price lowered and then do traffic school.....i just got one going 87 in a 65 by magic mountain and i gotta go to court in a couple of months this is my 2nd speeding ticket but i also got like 6 other ones..........no seatbelt.failure to signel..disturbing the peace cuz of music
i gots lots of speeding tickets and just pay and do the sckool it shouldnt be more that 200, i was doin 82 on a 55 and got a ticket for like 120 and 40 for the school. you dont even gots to go to court you just call a number on the ticket and then enter citation number and bunch of info and it should tell you how much it is and if you would like to pay wit a credit card and pay for school. then you do school online and just send the verification notice to the court that you took the school. never even step on the court premises. just wait about 3 to 4 weeks after the citation was issued.
Thanks man I appreciate the detailed info. What city did you get cited for? I think my fine will be pretty high, I've been hearing a lot of shit from people about novato and san rafael patrollers lately. I read on a site that says fines are different in every city/county, the smaller the city/county, the higher the fine and penalty and vice versa.
