RE: First Song - 57th St. RDV's - Let's get F*cked Up

I posted it as one of favorites and defintely my first back in '99 but for anyone who hasnt heard this it's a great song!

I'm pretty sure Tech and the RDV's squashed the beef so I'd like to see them on a new Tech album .. That is provided this wont be his last. I don't know if anyone else will hear it but on this track Tech just sounds like dude happy to be kickin it with his homeboys and makin music, thats probably part of why I like it too.

My boy had me download him a whole gang of shit for a mix CD. It's Alive was one of them. I listened to all the songs to make sure the files were legit and didn't have any skips or anything, and It's Alive caught my attention. I was like, "Damn this is pretty fuckin' tight." I looked him up and downloaded AngHELLic and Absolute Power. Both albums have stayed in my rotation ever since. Nowadays all I listen to is Tech. Oh and I eventually bought both albums, as well as the albums he's released since.

My favorite song probably is Going Bad. I slept on it for so long until I really understood what Tech was all about. That song just has so much emotion in it.

Other favorite tracks include God Complex, Twisted, Come Gangsta, This Ring, Worst Enemy and so many others.

First Tech song I heard was Questions & first full album was Calm Before The Storm... still one of my favorite tracks & albums...

and yeah, he's put out a few quality tracks since then... dunno what I'd classify as my favorite (Hope for a Higher Power, This Ring, Trapped In a Psycho's Body, Psycho Bitch, etc)

but my 7 year old's favorite is Slacker... she can rap the whole song

Well think this proves the diversity of Tech's fan base and pretty much all of us were exposed to Tech in different ways and really think this new album will appeal to more people. May not see it on record sales due to downloads, but i'm sure you'll see more people on the next Strange Tour at the shows.
Dunno bout you all but I never mind introducing new people to Tech, he has entertained me for years. I try to show love by gettin more people at his shows and buying his cds locally at least.

i was exposed the weirdest way cause i never did this with any artist. i had a murder dog mag and on the back it had an AP ad and the due looked hella crazy and the date the album came out was that exact date so i gave it a listen for 30 secs for each song. went home DLed AP loved it and went back to the store eventually and bought both and it's been on ever since

1st song: Breathe. Blew me away, to say the least. Favorite song is shaping up to be Hope For A Higher Power or Paint A Dark Picture. I LOVE the hook on Paint A Dark Picture.

*Begins singing* I can write a verse and take the sun awaaaay. *cringes in embarrassment due to lack of singing skills*

First: "The Industry is Punks". I was walking through Best Buy looking for a new CD, saw Tech, and thought I'd give him a try. Industry is Punks is the first song on the CD, so...

Favorite: Is it ok to talk about "Demons" again? There are a lot of new people around here that probably haven't heard of it yet.
