^ True that...if anything Jin being asian puts him at a disadvantage IMO as far as being a battle rapper, it makes him a very easy target...and he still pulls through and embarasses people...

Serius Jones is a joke to me...dude was not freestyling...he had a couple of impressive lines...but dude sounded more like he was reciting poetry than freestyle battling...

lol, yeah man i just NOW seen it and i know exactly what your talkin about, he wasnt rappin at all, u could tell u had all that shit memorized. i'd give jin that battle anyday just for really freestyling, which is rare these days in big freestyles like that

You guys are right. Serius Jones even admitted in the post-battle interview that he came with writtens memorized ahead of time. People do it all the time, but why he admits it in front of the media is like wtf?

I'd like to see where Serius Jones admitted he had pre-writtens. His line about China having a billion people and Jin still not going platinum there was funny to me. What do yall expect when there's no beat, people are going to slow it all the way down so you can hear it. Even 40 Cal rapped hella slow in his battle. I thought that dude Nemz was ok but he just tried to get over with cussing all the way through.

Rapper Jin Tha MC was defeated by Serius Jones in a stacked contest with Jones using pre-written material and some seriously racist rhymes. Jin, the champion from BET’s 106 & Park Freestyle Friday, got shot down during Allhiphop’s exclusive Fight Klub emcee battle in New York City last month.

Jin has defied industry standards, using his lyrics to aggressively fight racist radio parodies like New York radio station Hot 97’s “Tsunami Song” earlier this year.

Jin flew into battle with knockout lines like, “He couldn’t milk the game for what it’s worth if he was playing with cows.” Jones threw sand in his eyes, calling out: “You ain’t a Ruff Ryder, you on the back like one of them broads/DMX tried to kill him for trying to cook one of his dogs.”

The crowd further erupted after Jones spit, “You’ve been whack your whole career/Ain’t there two billion people in China, you can’t even go platinum over there?”

In his rhyme, Jin retorted that he would be “assassinated” if he spit out bigoted raps about black Americans. But Jones’ racially charged insults appeared to flummox the Chinese American rapper.

“As soon as Serius Jones started spitting with the racist jokes, I felt like he was reaching out to the lowest common denominator,” said Miss Info, who said she had seen Jones successfully battle before without having to resort to such tactics.

“I think it took Jin out of his stride. … He is usually able to take that and brush it right off. When Serius Jones came with straight fire in the sudden death round, and colorblind fire, then I knew he won the battle. They both had daggers, Serius’ were just sharper.”

Host International P agreed. “There was one winner. That boy Serius is serious. He’s the new champ of Fight Klub.”

However, the panel of judges —Just Blaze, D-Block CEO Sheek Louch and Hot 97 radio jock Miss Info — admitted they had to order the sudden death round because they were troubled by the race-related slams.

As for his pre-fab freestyle, Jones told allhiphop.com: “It’s ten thousand dollars. I’d be a fool to not have some thoughts prepared for the battle. Jin definitely has thoughts prepared and he has written raps, but he just disguises by adding freestyle punchlines at the right time. I use the same technique. This isn’t about an original freestyle, this is about ten thousand dollars.”

Exactly. There's no beat like on 106 And Park. Some emcees go slow, some go fast, etc. And I don't get why everyone's hating on Jones just because he came with writtens. When two rappers go at it, like Nas and Jay-Z or Pac and Big, everything they say is written. And like Jones said during the battle he ain't there to impress nobody off the top. He was there for the cake. And fact of the matter is that Jones MURK'D Jin. Period. On some RIP type shit.

o-solo was garbage. he didnt even spit on his final verse. nemz was ill.. "straight disrespectful".

lady luck is raw but remy pulled some tricks out of her sleeve in the last round which killed it cause LL had the first 2 rounds won IMO.

i really dont mind listening to prewrits cause its always some ill shit being spit. freestyles are alright.

who seen the murda mook vs jae millz battle? was that FightKlub? best battle ive ever seen.

I believe that Murda Mook/Jae Millz battle was from one of them "Beef" dvd's. You right though, that was a hot ass battle. I've seen some of Mook's other battles against no-name dudes and he eats them the fuck up. Too bad he can't write a song for shit, though.

To Serius' defense... "You talking about freestyling, the objective is getting paid"
And to Jin's defense, what he did with flipping the racial shit was amazing. About saying something about blacks and getting his ass kicked. He coulda took it with just that line, but his whole Sudden Death verse where he freestyled was garbage. Kept saying "something something something... BUT I'M NOT!"

i think its tight that its a show on mtv now... but is the host stupid? cuz he never says mtv2.. he says "double-headed dog network." i'd like it a bit better if it had a bigger budget, cuz the sound reception is terrible... if the cameras far from the host its hella silent so i turn it up, then they zoom up to him and its too fuckin loud.

Serius Jones? Are you kidding me? He wasn't even rapping. Mother fucker was just talking and making jokes. You call that freestyling? And plus sounds like everyone there was rooting for him from the start. Jin should have won.
