On some real shit though, my sister in law and a whole lot of other people have been bumpin' her shit. I'm talkin' regular folks. She's being mentioned all over facebook (from what I saw on my regular account.) On Mun2 (Latin channel that plays videos of latin artist.) And she's mentioned on Bart? I mean, she's not being propped and praised within a circle of independent rappers, she's touching the regular people. I'd say she's doing her thing.
My sister in law don't give a shit about the whole music scene etc, but approached me and said she had heard me mention Snow... & that's how I found out she was bumping her shit.
To my surprise, Snow is busting with Twista on some new cut that I found out about after her & I recorded, so I say she's doing pretty good on her own.
And on a positive note: I do agree that we (independents) can help each other out. That's the way it should be, but too many want to get rich off the next man & that... is one of the biggest setbacks in the game. In my opinion, which is the reason I made a documentary about the independent game. All those questions will be answered & hopefully wake up a few sleepers who are over paying other artist, paying to perform, hating on the next man etc... all will be answered.
As far as being a "Smart ass" LOL! Yeah, I've been told that so many times it's a compliment.
Like one of the many times I was arrested... I was put in the back of the cop car & the cop asked,
"Okay, tough guy north or south?"
and I said, "Right here would be fine."
"Oh, we have a smart ass in the car?"
"Being that there is two of us in the car & I'm the smart ass, what does that make you?"
LOL!!!! It wasn't a very fun ride to jail, but with that being said I'm not trying to come off like everybody else about being incarcerated. I went in on assault & battery, a few tickets & a gun charge that time. It's honestly nothing to brag about. It's a lesson most should learn, but to each his / her own.
For the record, I've never been no "thug, goon, hooligan etc." I ain't been incarcerated since 2000 and don't plan on it ever to happen again. It doesn't make me tough to of been behind bars, but it did make me a better man & who I am today.
...but as for being a "smart ass?" that's pretty much RELENTLESS :classic:
