Thanx for the compliment! Its greatly appreciated. Yeah those tracks are ALL old. "$ticky Leavez" & "Whisperz-N-My Head" were done in 2000, "Gotta Get Mine" was 2001, "$-K-Mo" was 2002 and "$aKraMentO" was Feb. 2005. I have alot more darker sounding beats now....since I make them myself.

$-K-MO, not that its kareoke hr or anything, but breathe is pretty simple. I used to listen to Tech all day everyday, and before we became acquianted, Tech just called me "that dude, that can do all my shit, just like me"LOL, till I realized it's not cool to be able to perform someone else's songs JUST LIKE THEM, it serves no purpose. My first idea on this board, was actually a show, where some of Tech's biggest fans would perform some of his shit, with Tech as the guest of honor, he liked the idea, he thought the shit would be cool.

Here is a little trivia, about the song breathe though, which verse did Tech not have any hand in writing, to my knowledge it is still the only verse in Tech song that was completely written by someone else, and performed by Tech.

Your original shit was cool.

If "Breathe" is simple then how come people I know that love Tech just as much as I do, can not do the same? I mean, its simple to you and I, but most people can not do it. Yes, I know we practiced alot, but even they did most of them STILL wouldnt be able to perform it. You said "it serves no purpose"? How could it not? Learning other people's music and whatnot is how music became what it is today, by way of emulating, then changing and/or improving to better fit the person learning.

Plus, I never said that I performed the song "just like" him, I add my own flavor to it when I do it. I just said that I can flow the words smoothly and am able to pronunciate the words clearly.

As for the trivia, I would have to go with verse 2.

Thank you for the compliment on MY music. Its very much appreciated.

Well I never practiced, I guess used to listen so much, I am the same, Tech told me "damn nigga you do the shit faster and more clear than I do, if you can do my shit you should write something of your own", but rappin aint my thing, I have always been able to do tongue twisters and shit, probably from playing the trumpet, but I could see how you could apply it if you are an M.C.

You had to have practiced, you're not just gonna listen to a song a bunch of times and then just know it by heart unless you practiced with it. I've always been able to do the tongue twisters as well, in fact thats how I learned to spit so quickly. Over a course of 6 months, I learned how to flip the tongue and then I learned how to make it clear. I have been doin music for 15 years, ever since I was 9. I've been writing since I could remember. I love to write. I've written poetry, short stories, and have a script I've been workin on and off on for years. People tell me that my use of vocabulary is so descriptive that they visualize my lyrics. Its not a hobby, or somethin to pass time, I am OBSESSED with music! I have SOOOO much music it isnt even funny. All different types too, I dont like to stick with one genre. I listen to anything that catches my ear. I have all types of cd's, everything from classical to country, rock to rap, hardcore to hip hop, and punk to pop. I wrote EVERYDAY and have over 700 songs written. I also make beats now. I've only been makin beats for a couple of years though.

I feel you Heat, Tech would tell you that your parents were never gonna die if he thought it would make you happy at the moment, at the time he didn't need to be a politician with me, I was at every event, and Kaliko and his mother were my next door neighbors, LOL. Its wierd though, I just have an uncanny ability to hear one of his verses a couple of times and can repeat it, the last time that shit happened when I was around Tech was when the potluck song first dropped, I listened to it alot cause I liked it. It is prob my fav Tech feature, but I would never replay a song and try to "get it" but Tech said "what you think about the potluck verse" I spit it back to him while he threw in the "cheap shots" and said I lotta fans memorize my shit, and when they see me I can tell they been practicing when they rap the shit back to me, how you get that shit so fast? I just never have practiced, Later on that day I spit that same verse at 1 and a half times the speed. I would never pretend to be an M.C. I stand firm by my view that if you arent rapping to make a living then it is just a hobby. I'll leave it up to you pros. LOL.
