@SRD420....Ur song means so many things to so many people. In other words it doesnt mean one specific thing....Shit it's all about "relation" to that song. To me its a song of "hope".......IMO :)

That's interesting. And actually, you hit it right on man, there's no explanation for that song... its up to the listener and how they precieve it. That's why its my favorite song.

To me, its about drug addiction.

Dude, wish I could listen, but I'm unfortunately on some dial up shit right now. I know... stone age, right? LOL... its a good song though, take a listen "real close" some time. Especially if yer trippin' on shrooms :)

and for another prop...if you listen to some of the verses carefully you can hear biblical references around here and there (actually quite ofter)....Again it's a matter of perception but for me i say hope/salvation...Look past the drugs girl :)
I dont attend sunday mass every sunday but i did read some of the bible ironically around the time i 1st heard this song years ago.....so maybe perception for me?! I dunno

I hear the bible in his lyrics too. Robert Plant is the shit doggie. Ya notice how he references damn near every song around a "girl" "lady" or "woman?"

u got me on that.......unfortunetly my knowledge of Led Zeppelin ends @ that song....Stupid huh? like the song but never got into the rest of the music.......Young and alway's a hip hop head back then....Times are changing mind is expanding...Gonna get an album and listen to it and i'll get back to you on the "girl" "lady" "woman" issue......Must of been the weed (allowed me to free my mind) and my cousin (who likes Robert Plant/led zeppelin) that got me listening to that song
