It never is Loon... These punk ass white collar media bastards are so caught up in making the national headlines and competing with the next station, they'll blow the smallest shit outta proportion!

"They" think they know so much about "us" its ridiculous.

The funny thing about this is, most other races look at us and think we are crazy.

Okay...

Black people: Black on Black crime. We may kill someone over a car stereo or some rims, and have a cities homicide at 100 in a year. Cool...
Arabians: They'll watch us in 7-11 like we gone steal and rob them. But quick to suicide bomb and kill 300 people at once...
White People: "Oh my God honey, lock your doors we're in Grandview!" Quick to talk on some black folks for killing but will have a Meth'd out son go shoot up 20 people at once in a school with his dad's AK... Have that happen a few times in a year and by golly gee wiz you have your total add up!

SO YEAH, WE ARE ALL CRAZY!!! Its never gonna stop, but if you leave it to the Media, "We" (The black folks) are the crazy ones....

Thats how I charmed her JL... I showed my gold teeth, nappy beard and dreads and said... "Yeeeaaahhhh!!!" She was dripping like a broke faucet in Wayne Manor projects.

But forreal, Deena, you dont count. You know the hood, the people and your an honorary black sister anyways.

But you arent a person that lives in Lees Summit, never goes any farther West of Noland Rd and swears the ghetto is full of people that dont want to do anything for themselves but shoot and kill each other. Quick to judge but couldnt even know the first thing about a cracked sidewalk. Those are the muthafuckas that I am talking about. Those are the profiles of the Media, politicians, and bigots...

And if any of them are from the hood, they are confused uncle Toms with Slave tendancies cause all they say is yessuh, no sir... But swear they worked hard for everything in their life and everyone else can do the same. Aint no fucking jobs out there, aint no fucking nothing we interested in thats gonna keep us broke. Aint no taxes on selling dope so what avenue should we take. The school teacher drives a Volvo and Ray-Ray the dopedealer drives a H2 on 36's (like that even exists)... What looks more promising? I can tell you first hand that college aint shit either. I been here 4 years, there are 1000's of people that graduate with the same degree but there aint 1000's of jobs in that field. So you either go back into the school cycle and rack up more loans that you have to pay back for the next 35 yrs. or go back to your old H.S. job unless you know somebody that knows you...

Its only gonna get worse yall... This country or this world aint set up where people can walk around and be peaceful. Shits too confusing, tempers rage, people are broke, no help, aint shit to smile about.... everybodys getting shot and killed everyday. Shit I might as well shoot myself in the leg to get it over with early.

I can go on and on but my carpel tunnel is kicking in...

Not trying to nitpick, but like you said, it all depends on the school and major. Therefore, it can't be completely false, but on the same token, it can't be completely true either.

I agree with what maszive said because i've seen the shit happen first hand. My own college experience notwithstanding, but my cousin, who happens to be a Harvard business graduate, wound up working at McDonald's with me for a year and some change. Same with a co-worker of mine who's been sitting on a master's in biology for close to three years, working as a waitress, barely making ends meet, and just the other day got a job with a company up in DC.

Of course, that's not saying the inverse doesn't occur, as you've proven. It just goes both ways... like a bisexual

C'mon now Mizzou... We cant be text book here when we talk about jobs in this country. "THEY" say that there are jobs but there isnt any really... Its all about who knows you, that gets you in the door. As far as I've come in college, Im not no where near expecting to have a Journalism job. I'd feel better if they reformed the whole "Major's" thing in college and created majors that really apply... I.e.

1. Secretary
2. Laborer
3. In the process of finding a job
4. Entry level
5. Nurse assistant
6. Fry guy
7. Amusement park mascot
8. Disgruntled 23 yr. old college grad Republican that followed his parents dreams and was led down the wrong hopeful path of joining a country club and making 75 a year, in support of Bush at every rally because he felt that the "American Dream was just that he came to figure out. A "Dream!" So he voted Rep. on every ballot and all it led to was job cuts, tax hikes that he succumbed to and regreted ever listening to his poverty stricken Rep. dad that lived in a trailor home now hes working at Mickey D's with Religion... With a minor in politics... "Whewww..."
9. Checkout clerk
10. My dad is the president of a law firm so I am going to run the business when I get out of school.

Mizzou, its all a game for me and you know that... I dont get caught up in the "rat-race" hopes and all that American hoopla at all. I listen too Limbaugh everyday and I understand what a Filibuster is haha... But I dont let that blow my mind and lose grip with whats "really" in front of me, and thats reality. I mean, maybe you went to school with rich kids that had their names established in their mom or dads business before they were weined from the nipple, but I can tell you I would've never, ever left the Post office if I knew what this country had is store for me. And I was 21 then. Shit, I made more in one yr. working at Quiktrip a few years ago than people I know with Masters degrees.

yeah I graduated Magna Cum Loude and i've been jobless for a year
only now, i got an INTERNSHIP at a recording studio. but yeah it all depends on what your major is and what you study, like i think maszive said. i knew shit was gonna be hard, but i took the risk, and shit ended up being harder than i thought
