well you never know cause for one person that don't like a song, there's always somebody that do espicially how these youngsters act over music now a days. if a ugly ass bitch can make a song about lip gloss and get some air play then the game is wide open.

since everybody is in the dancin mood. somebody in frisko should introduce the getlow dance to the rest of the world.

I Tried and Runaway Love are two positive songs (at least I think so). They have good messages and they're not the same old mindless shit that you usually hear on the radio.
thats what makes "hip hop" hip hop...everyone is different and the game is gonna constantly change and will never be what "hip hop" once was, i dont care what anyone says...80's hip hip will never be duplicated, that feel good music where artist's did everything for fun, where there wasnt that much politics involved as there is now especially in radio...(clear channel). everything now is about quick money, none of these rappers out now with the exception of few will disapear within a year or two and still be in the same financial state they were before that "ONE HIT WONDER" but that doesnt mean that i dont like the music thats being put out now and days...everyone is entitled to their opinion

What? Wasnt 2 Step and Walk it Out coming out at the same time as Runaway Love? There was no trend or nothing changing. I'm saying how come those songs made it, and not Masta Ace songs, or Jay Tee "One and Only Son," I could go on and on, but unfortunately I can't think of anything right off the top of my head, partly cuz of the emphasis on other crappy songs. Why did Mos Def have to make a song like Ms Fat Booty to get a video? Yeah Respiration was a good video, almost made up for not making Brown Skin Lady, but you see what I'm saying. I'm wondering why people even bothered to give a shit about Runaway Love and I Tried. Actually I Tried, I'm pretty sure was cuz of Akon, but Runaway Love still kinda got me puzzled. Probably cuz of Ludacris and his new laser haircut and lineup.

runaway love and i tried are actually good songs, the reason why those songs did good probably wasnt because luda's haircut and it doesn't hurt to have someone like a Akon, T-pain, or even Old school nate dogg on the hook...every hip hop song out there isnt gonna attract the same fan base then the last single...its impossible for that to happen because as a artist u have to very diverse in the style of music u make in order to gain a large fan base...u cant just make shoot'em up bang bang songs or strictly make cupcake songs...u gotta expand ur mind and think big in order to make it big. and if u call that beign a sellout or going hollywood??? then keep it local and make the local money. just remember that music is only a form of entertainment.

How come more of those songs aren't making it then? Those are the only major songs I can think of in the past 6 months that made nationwide radio, or any kind of mainstream radio.

Fuck all the haters.. "faaaassst!" when that shit comes on, i get so amped up i wanna jump outta my skin. Yes, it is corny, and repetative, but who the fuck cares. A lot of corny songs are easy to learn, fun to dance to, and thats why they are hits. If a song can make you laugh, feel good, and slap at the same time, then im all for it. Nobody claimed it was a super lyrical song, or had a whole lotta subject matter. I can see why its not for everybody, but i think the majority of people who hear it will like it... who knows maybe some red neck Nascar fans might like it

u can blame that on "Clear Channel Radio" they pick and choose what they want played on the radio...and if u think that those top 10 countdowns that are supposedly requested by the fans are real....guess what its not. every top countdown u see on tv or hear on the radio is put together by clear channel radio, mtv or bet executives. not the fans

I know.. that was my whole point. Of course they wouldn't want any positive depictions of females in songs, they want the continued destructiveness. Of course no song about beautiful women will be on there. Why Runaway Love and I Tried?

Jams played it this morning, with From the Hood right after. Once again, the director gets hosed again. His name was completely missing from the video credits at the bottom. His name is also spelled wrong on the Super Hyphy video. Really not cool...
