I don't understand how these people are saying that at some point its ok to steal. Maybe when it comes to surviving, like stealing food or water. But just because somebody is going to lose a house is not is an excuse. Life comes with hardships and that might be one of them and if you cop out of it by stealing from somebody else then thats weak. Did you ever think that when you steal from somebody you might be putting them in the position you are in? How fair is that when they SHOULDN'T have been in that position in the first place?
i see where you are coming from with that. But it's really the same thing. It depends on the size of the business. If it's some mom and pop shop then somebody is going to be hit hard by the theft while if it's some major corporation like Wal-Mart it's going to have way less of an effect. Stealing from a business though effects way more people than stealing from a dude on the street. When a business is getting shoplifted enough it will raise prices to make up for it. You have to look deeper to see how everything gets effected.
Stealing from a business is something diffrent totally. Business's have insurance to cover damages and losses so a business is not going to miss a beat. Stealing from people is not cool. But...in the streets it is what it is. You got all kinds of hustles, its like cause and effect. You got pimps so you got tricks and hoes, you got Crips so you got Bloods, you got D-Boys that make it and you got jackers that take it, you got professional liars,cons, niggaz sellin slum, bootlegged dvds and cd's. I mean the streets are relentless. Do yall think jackin is worse than sellin dope that detroys families? Hell to me killing another nigga over a female is worst of all.
If you straight up rob a business then insurance will cover it, but when it comes to shoplifting I don't think that is as easily taken care of. Especially when it is not caught, that's why stores are forced to raise prices. As far as selling dope that ruins families, the people that buy dope have a choice to buy it. You can't choose if you want to get robbed or not. I'm not justifying selling dope at all either, it's just not the same situation. I like the cause and effect comment, that goes for everything and most illegal things have a bad effect more so than a good one and that is why they are illegal.
the thing about selling dope is its perpetual.. you lace one fiend and he laces another.. it's a never ending story... you flip a bird, its broke into zones, those zones get kicked down and sold by dubs, dimes, eight balls, quads, whatever it do.. but every time you work down that chain theres more and more mouths to feed... i mean, i know a few top flight niggas who sling and dont touch it, but on the real most niggas who have it in their hands have it in their nose or their lungs.. do you know any boyscouts who move minor?
