I'm hearing a lot about Cincy's Mike Brown being the frontrunner, which doesn't make sense to me. Sure, he drafted two ready-to-go offensive cornerstone rookies and made a great move in return for Palmer, and I do understand that the yearly awards are given out based on the regular season only....
BUT...
Trent Baalke within two weeks of being hired brought in the hottest coaching prospect in America, and had probably the most successful draft of 2011 when looking at our draft class overall, and one of the most effective as well as cost effective free agent hauls of the year...which all led to his young team winning a division title and finishing 13-3.
Of course this is all in my extremely biased opinion.
