Then why did you mention "harping on the 49ers offense" when NOBODY was talking about the 49ers?

The critics need to lay off Vince Young because there are other qb's that are doing worse. Who does look impressive against San Diego's D? Not many besides Tom Brady.
peyton did well kinda lol

You were wondering why the critics weren’t talking about Alex Smith.

I said that VY plays for a winning team that gets more attention…and what good is it gonna do to talk about Smith and the 49ers.

Go back and read through the posts...it's all there.
Well if he plays for a winning team then that makes him a winner right? So shouldn't the critics be talking about the bad qb's that play on losing teams instead of talking about Vince? That's my whole point. Why waste time talking about a winning qb on a winning team? Vince Young hasn't played all that bad for the critics to be getting on him like they are.

^^^no cause that mean critics would be doing hat they should be and then they wouldnt suck as much and since they have to suck very bad they have to criticize the good players and leave the bad ones alone lol

HAHA…NO! When has that ever happened?

You’re not wasting time talking about VY cause he is a good…popular QB that people care about it. Nobody freakin’ cares about Alex Smith or Matt Leinhart.

That would be like ESPN just showing all the scrub QB’s and back up running backs and receivers all the time. I mean…we should be talking about them and how bad they are. Forget Tom Brady and Peyton Manning, Randy Moss, TO and LT.

We really should be talking about Joey Harrington, Ron Dayne and Ashley Lelie.

its the running game and defense thats really helping him manage the game. He really needs alot of work in his passing game in my opinion. If he were to QB a team that relies heavily on the passing game his stats would probably be worse than it is. Thats my opinion and everyone is entitled to their own.

Then again you can also put some blame on Norm Chow (former OC who just got fired) for playing it too conservative.

But you know what? V. Young is a winner. He has a winning record as a starter in the NFL. He is doing his job. Give him a couple more years to see his development then we can reflect back to whether is a good QB.

it does seem like vince had REGRESSED since last year but you gotta remember

drew bennett (leading yardage wr)
bobby wade (2nd in yardage wr)
travis henry (team rush leader)

all left in fa....vince didnt regress.....THE WHOLE OFFENSE did.....wheter that was due to vince ALONE is yet to be determined.....

that seems to be true......and what you said about chow being conservatie is also true....but i wonder if the fact that our wr core was so poor was the reason that our o was so conservative....(chow even completly called out almost ever WR on our crew and said step it up or your not back next season....funny thing was HES not going to be the one back)

Yeah. Good points. I remember during the off season last year. They didn't pick up anyone to improve their offense. Even the analysts were shocked that Tenn didn't pick up an offensive weapons or resign Bennett.

@ Travis Henry. He had one of his best seasons last year. He has homerun capabilities compared to twinkie boy Lendale White. Lendale is perfect for a team whose only goal is to control the clock.

yup, i think lendale could be used better in the late game like marion barber use to do.....hopefully our 2nd round pick from last year chris henry will step it up and be our home run threat that he looks like he could be....im iffy on him and he hand one good run (against oakland) he just seems to have on of the most annonying habbits in the world of rbs.....HE CANT STOP RUNNING INTO THE BACK OF OUR LINEMAN?!!!

if titans dont do something in fa/good draft/make a trade....people will continue to talk shit about VY....

Vince young is a winner and if the Titans get some weapons on offense i think he will flourish for a long time and people will still underestimate him for some reason
