Ill bet you 500$ gore will have a better season then DMC, put your money where your mouth is.
Gore had BETTER have a more productive season than DMC since DMC isn't a starter and he's a rookie RB. Gore is the hands down no split carry starter.
Frank Gore's mother died last year also, how would you perform at work if your mother died? i probley wouldnt even be able to go.
bretts dad died and he was raping fools.....i guess people react different....
exactly, people either grieve or pour their heart into whatever they do when someone that close to them dies. Didn't Tony Dungy's colts win the Superbowl the year his son died? then again Michael Jordan retired the year his dad died

Brett=most overrated qb of all time.
lol......how 49eresque of you

the cowboys=yankee's of the nfl.
although I will agree with you there

well you idiot, that makes your argument void, because shaun alexander has more career touchdowns then barry sanders, on way less attemps, you know why? because Barry played or SHITTY offenses, Barry is still the far superior RB to Alexander, even with less career td's, just as Gore is far superior to second stringer MB3.
B. Sanders is a better runner, anyone will tell you that. S. Alexander had a break out year in 2005 and that was it. Barry is good but I dont think he was all that good. No rings, and what a lot of people dont know is barry sanders lost over 1200 yards (or something like that I cant find that stat with the right number) in his career and thats 2 reasons why i dont like him as much as everyone else.Same with Alexander, he has no rings, he just had 1 good season.

9. Clinton Portis, Washington Redskins
Watch: Portis highlights
Superpower -- Portis is simply impressive in terms of production. He is near the top of the league every year and is a tough player who will fight through bumps and bruises. He attacks the line of scrimmage and can make the first defender miss in the hole. He does not have elite size but knows how to finish his runs.
Kryptonite -- He puts the ball on the ground too often and at times does so in critical situations. He can be aloof when he needs to take care of the ball, dropping easy passes to kill drives and missing blocks in pass protection. He has great physical tools but at times seems to check out mentally.

Not too bad for Portis @ #9! I agree with ESPN expect for whats in bold..... Portis is a great blocker and in many of those plays where Campbell or Collins got sacked were because of our offensive line injuries to starters Jon Jansen and Randy Thomas. The Skins were shuffling guys in and out throughout the season on the O-line.

When Gore had 44% of the offense, he also had one of the best OL's in the league, much like AP did last year.

Also, AP SHARED carries with Morris, so combined, they probably had the same amount of offense that Gore had.

THAT WOULD BE A STUPID BET. GORE WILL GET FAR MORE CARRIES. OUR STABLE OF RB'S IS WAAY DEEPER AND SHITS ON YOURS, SO DMC WON'T BE OVERUSED.

NOW IF DMC WAS GOING TO BE A FEATURE BACK WITH MAYBE ONE DECENT BACKUP BEHIND HIM (DASHAUN FOSTER), I'D TAKE THAT BET IN A HEARTBEAT.

GORE WILL PROBABLY BE INJURED BY GAME 6.
