but can he rap and does he have good lyrics? yes imo he does
for him to be back on his depressed white boy shit.. he would have to be in hard bad times, something bad to happen in his life, hes like tech he raps about his life.. so if hes down n out, he gonna rap about being down n out, if hes on the level where he thinks no one can fuck with him then hes gonna be on that gangsta shit

hes happy now, and is doing better in life why hate that? would you want him to have bad in his life just so he can go back on the depressed white boy shit, so you can get pleasure out of his music?

we should want everyone to be happy at least i do

it could have easily died away but you brought back to the top with another complain posts which lead me to post this and bring it back to the top just to wait a week or two again for it to die

i didnt get pleasure out of his music then either. and just because he isnt depressed anymore doesnt mean he has to rap about being hood or hard...and it aint even that, the main thing i dont like about him is his monotone ass flow. he changed his shit from having as much emotion as 2pac to having the exact same boring ass annoying flow on every song

ok well i cant understand if you didn't like him in the first place, and yes if he raps about his life his lyrics will change as his life changes, i never really heard him rap about being hood, the way he raps is like leave me the fuck alone unless you want it with me... he doesn't really say he shoots and punks dude's for there stuff
its if you fuck with me then ima fuck with you type of level

also i think his tone has always been good depending on the song and what its about
Such as when im gone, he ain't gonna be as hyped as he is on go to sleep bitch and have the same tone cause one song is too his daughter and the other is too an enemy

I thought 'Em's music kept getting better and better up to the point of "the Eminem Show" and the "8 Mile" soundtrack. The Eminem Show is by far my favorite album of his. But after that, it got way to commercial sounding and he kept recycling that same sample over and over again when he was producing.

On another note, the album "Cheers" that Eminem produced for Obie Trice was the shit, IMO. I don't know of many people (personally) that have even heard the album. I'm sure a lot of you here have, though. Obie Trice was FAR BETTER than I ever thought possible. Plus, the album has some great guest appearances, thanks to Mr. Mathers and Dr. Dre, no doubt.

It's a very, very solid album. To this day, when a friend asks me what would be a good album to pick up (that they know I have heard, but they haven't), I always say "Cheers" by Obie Trice. :classic:

I agree with the point that Em kept at least putting out good shit until after the 8 Mile Soundtrack came out.. And then something happened and he just started to fucking suck with Encore and everything he's done since.

I mean, he's done a few good songs since then, but nothing compared to what he was doing previously.. But I still feel Slim Shady LP is his best work.

you definately just contradicted yourself.

if someone has a "monotone ass flow" then they wouldnt go from "having as much emition as pac to having the exact same boring ass annoying flow on every song"

in fact, they wouldn't change their flow at all...

because...

well, it's monotone.
