@Pak Dan.....I felt that on "Underground" the lyrics were pretty incredible, the way he paints pictures of the rhymes he spits....I can only say maybe Nas is in that category as far as mainstream rappers go. I felt his flow was a little choppy and he wasn't ridin the beat quite as well as he did the rest of the album; However, if you listen to the beat ride out at the end, it's quite a difficult beat to flow over......
Another thing I would like to point out with this album....When I first heard the singles I thought they were terrible, in fact I couldn't even listen to them all the way through on my first listen. But....When you hear them in sequence on the album, it all makes sense cuz they fit perfectly with the theme of the album. Goes to show how important sequencing is on an album. If there's something rappers are lacking nowadays, it is not only substance but an idea or theme...everyone is tryna make an LP full of singles.....Relapse is a breath of fresh air.....Dre and Em make a perfect marriage here cuz the beats aint all that fantastic or over the top, they seem to be just in the middle so that they are enough to keep your interest but at the same time you don't zone out to the beat; you focus more on what Eminem is saying.
I've got one question for everybody....After hearing the singles for this one, do you guys think 50 will bring the same sorta heat with his album when it drops?
