A majority of the songs are either a 9 or a 10 (some tracks are really a fucking 12 or 15), with the rest being a solid 8, and the worst being a 7. In terms of todays music, I give it a 10/10. I mean, if you want to say that should only equal a 9, or an 8.5725 you can do the math. Overall, I think the album will be viewed as a 9 or a 9.5 by most critics. I am giving it a 10.

I am not/never been on some stupid, hating, retarted shit on this board. I try and call it how I see it, and I think I am fairly accurate with most of my views, though I am not always 100% right.

i hated encore but i put that shit in the other day and it wasnt as bad as i once thought. its got its points where it could have been better executed but if you include the bonus songs it was pretty damn good. at the time i think i was looking for something more the caliber of his earlier cds, and encore wasnt that. he went a whole other direction.

after a week with relapse im giving it a 7 or 7.5/10. if he wasnt dropping another cd this year i would have given it a 5.5

I think what phil meant by that is; Dude was gone for like 5 years and he came back with this album. Apparently phil thought it was almost a sub-par effort for being gone that long, but since there's a sequel coming to Relapse, that shows Em is still sittin on another album's worth of material, which phil is anticipating and gives him hope for the next one?.....somethin along those lines

respect to you bro, but that wasn't my point of view of the album, I was tryna translate what phil said earlier in the thread. He said the album woulda been a 5.5 but since there's another album coming he gave it a 7 or 7.5/10...lol@your synonym though, very funny and that's exactly what I meant..and that's exactly how I would translate what phil said....I think we need him to clarify what he meant....phil?
