Yeah, it's true homey. But sometimes life is bigger than this rap shit. I don't think he left because of some rap shit. But I don't think I could ever move out of Dago. I love livin' here. The weather, the scenery of seein' fine ass bitches on the regular, I go to the beach every weekend, all the events that come through here, all my family and homies are here. Cost of living and gas is high as a muthafucca, but if I'm gon' be successful, I'm gon' be successful here, and if I'm going to struggle, I'm going to struggle here. And I ain't just talkin' about no rap shit. Of course a nigga has to branch out to make it in the rap game, but Dago is my homebase, and where I want to live the rest of my life. Life is a game my niggaz, and you got to have a plan b, c, and d, and think ahead to win at it.

Yeah, he told me that it's only for the summer, but when he comes bac, he said he's moving to LA. He called me right before he bounced. I guess he wants to go wherever the opportunities are, because Dago definitely doesn't have that many rap opportunities. It seems like the only people who have made any progress on a major level had to move out of Dago, which is a muthafuccen shame. I wish anybody would blow up from Dago without someone from LA's help, or movin' out of the city. Just blow up right out the town like them atl niggaz, or nelly etc. But Dago isn't nationally known on some rap shit or even gangsta shit (believe me, I was in the feds with niggaz from all over the country, and they didn't even know we had Crips and Bloods, and some muthafuccaz outside of the town think Dago is soft). But we have some of the most REALEST and TALENTED rappers and producers that just ain't all the way out there yet. I'll put us against any City, and we'll stand tall. I was just listenin' to the Ghetto world soundtrac the other day, and I was like dam this shit is quality music, and Dago has some talented muthafuccas, but since it's only Dago artists, only a certain amount of people (who know about the heat we bring) will fucc wit' it. I went to Blue Tattoo (club), and it was like I was in Atlanta. Every song they played was from the South, but not just that, but the mc on the mic kept sayin' "do the South run this muthafucca", and he kept sayin' "where my East Coast niggaz at". We're in Dago, and not once did he say anything about the West Coast! That shit wouldn't happen in LA, the Bay, or the opposite way in the South or the East Coast. Go to any club in Dago, and it's the same thing. I KNOW I GOT WAY OFF TOPIC, and what I'm sayin' might sound negative, but it's the fucced up truth. We got a long way to go, but I'm in for the long ride...

OFF TOPIC

That's some bullshit Lil CS.. can't believe they were hollerin that in Blue Tatoo like we're not alive on the west coast. ATL music is huge right now and look at the success of the artists coming from there.. people are getting signed left and right. I'ma be in LA in a few months to keep shit moving but please believe I'll be back in Dago puttin it down because Dago has shown me nothin but love and is apart of my record.

Tell ECAY to keep it moving. Time waits for no man and that nigga got a family to take care of. Ain't no one else gonna support him so for him and anyone else who has to get up and go to move his/her life forward, GO DO IT!!! I LOVE MY HOMETOWN, DETROIT!!! WE IN THE NBA FINALS. I lived there for the 1st 23 yrs. of my life and graduated from college right in the heart of DETROIT. Oct. 1st, 2002, I packed my belongings with hardly no money and me and my woman moved to the ATL and now we got a little bit of something coming from nothing. The message is: DO WHAT YOU GOTTA DO

I ain't one of the cryin' niggaz. Jayo did what he had to do. I don't think niggaz was cryin' about him leavin'. Niggaz was more like why he never had ONE nigga from Dago (or his set) on any of his albums until Crip Hop (when you got out, and kind of pressed the issue on it). If you wouldn't have got out, it probably would've stayed that way. But to each is own. I wouldn't give a fuc what the next nigga does. The only niggaz that worry about what the next nigga'z doin', is the niggaz that ain't hustlin', ain't progressin', and ain't havin' money at whatever they doin' (music, slangin' whatever). But how it is now, and has always been, is that the only way it seems like a nigga can progress on a major level is to leave. I hope that shit changes, and I'ma try to help it change. But I really don't think Ecay left just on some rap shit. I think it was more on some life shit. And that's what niggaz gotta think about, cuz this rap shit don't last forever.

Thatz incredible!!! Well he gotta do what he gotta do!!! As long as he keeps his head up and remember he still got uz out here lookin up to him. Thatz all I could say. Like C.S. kind of said, all them hip-hop muhfuccas around here still continuing to bump all that playd out radio shit seeming like the local & untouchable hip-hop doesn't exist, I feel sorry for all of them! Thats how I say it.

Why did you leave the D for Atlanta? I thought Blacks had an opportunity in Detroit.

^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^
DETROIT is over 80% black but as far as the job market, if you want to make a living, FORD, GM, & CHRYSLER is where the money is. Them other little 7,8, 9 dollar/hr. jobs ain't sh*t. So many folks sell dope, weed, etc... that you wouldn't believe half of em who do sell it cuz they look like model citizens. All over the country the job market is tough and "THE BIG THREE" are shipping alot of their jobs to MEXICO so there you have it. I'm not saying it's all bad but over the last 50 years DETROIT's population. as far as the city alone. has lost over 1 million people. DETROIT WILL ALWAYS BE HOME but standing still physically will f*ck you up mentally. Ask anyone who has ever left their home city or home state and tried to live elsewhere. You grow up quick and you realize you ain't never been nowhere staying within the confines of your own hometown. SInce I left DETROIT, I now wanna travel all over the U.S. and see how it is from CALI to COLORADO to NY to TEXAS and please believe I will go to all these places. I'm headed to FLORIDA in AUGUST and TENNESSEE in SEPT. and just living away from home, yeah I miss my family, but this is the situation I needed to help me grow as a person. Plus the ATL is ALWAYS jumping whether an individual hangs out at clubs, goes to church, or wherever, this is the place to be. I typed enough didn't I???
