So you Piston fans worried yet, just like i said the Celtics matchup great against the Pistons. Since Ben Wallace left the Pistons have never been the same. They might always get back to the Conference finals but yall are in the East, yall would be lucky to get to the second round in the West.
Sheed and McDyess are both far better than Ben Wallace will ever be.

everybody makes a big deal about the celts road playoff record. they need to be worried about the home playoff record. the celtics could lose every road game this postseason and still hang a banner up. no other team can say that. not one. 9 down 7 to go. not to mention detroit always looks frustrated when they play boston. they always have that look as though they have given up. these are not the pistons of a few years ago.

i set my bar low cause i played basketball a bit to know that chemistry means alot and granted we have some good chemistry i think we're too premature for a title run this year since this is the 1st all these cats together. not setting it low just being realistic. i hope we make it all the way this year and i would be excited then a MOFO if they did, but i dont think so.

boring? what?!?!?! this is a great defensive match up and this series will be ppl getting hit and hitting the floor. nice old school basketball like the 80's. tonight's game was awesome. the refs were eating there whistles for the most part and letting both teams play there brands of D. gotta love the win.
Well even if its thier first year together the comraderie is pretty good.

Whats reality is that they are 3 games out of the finals. Damn show some sort of faith in your team. I think you are doing it on purpose though because every team you pick to win doesnt this playoffs and you know it. Im just saying you better stick to your word and predict the Celtics to beat the lakers in the finals. LOL.

i feel ya. im disappointed in krazee. i felt the same way he did throughout the season. but at the end of the season we were and are the best team in the league. anything less than losing the 7th game of the nba finals would be failure. hes happy theyve gotten this far. im not. the pistons arent on the celtics level. therefore if we lose this series we have underachieved and failed. step your homerism up krazee!! lol

i have faith and i said if we gonna make it to the finals it would be against the pistons. it's not that i lost faith i just get worried that my team's "comraderie" will break do to the fact it's there first year together. and i look at coaching and how doc really isnt that good of a coach and then wonder, when was the last time a mediocre coach won the whole thing? i cant even think of when so that worries me as well. i mean as long as my team made it out of 1st round i would be happy and i will be even if they lose the next 4 i will be cause it's something to build off of. oh and if it's Lakers and Celts for finals i will say celts in 6. if it's spurs then thats a toughie, maybe in 7 if we lucky.

the pistons are at the same level we at. we won ONE game thats all. it isnt everything man. and to see my team win 2 game 7's and all that this year is fucking awesome to me. remember i'm so use to celtic failure that what there doing is better than anything i've ever seen them do so ofcoarse i'll be happy no matter what. i was happy when we lost to the nets in 6 in the eastern finals when we had walker n shit.

very true. and the pistons win against us was the dumbest call i've ever seen in my life cause it was like 4 secs left and the refs called a ghost foul for them to win the game. we need to play big baby against this team more than PJ imo. big baby went off on the celts and had like 10 and1's to win it in the 4th when we faced them the 2nd time.

he was the heart of your team and fit in perfectly into the Pistons system. neither Ben Wallace nor the Pistons have been the same since he left
very true. the pistons system of defense ran so well for a player like ben and ben was the perfect fit for ur defense and u'll never get that back. ben was dumb and ran with the money when he was making it good in D. it came to a point where ben wallace was one of my fav players and bought his authentic jersey and everything. i was hella pissed when he left for the bulls since i spent all tha money on that jersey lol. learned my lesson though and only buy retired players jerseys now, with the acception of KG

Two things.. The foul on Chauncey in that first game was definitely a foul. Pierce I believe completely fell for a pump fake and knocked him over. On the block attempt that shit happens all the time. And it got called.

Second, this Piston team is better without Ben Wallace. Especially considering how bad of a player ben wallace is now. Jason Maxiell is better than Ben Wallace now. And I'd rather have McDyess than Wallace in the lineup. It sucks playing 4 on 5 on offense, and he really didn't mean much for the defense. The defense is still near the top of the league with the CElts and Spurs. But now the team can actually score points because they have five people that can score.

Hopefully the Pistons can pull this off. They need hold serve and just win game 2 or 5 or 7 to get this. 7 will be tough though, so I think they need to still Game 2 or 5, which is possible.

Though the end of this series, if it goes long, would favor the Pistons since the Celts will be on a pretty crazy stretch of games and the Pistons got there week off, and will have more in the tank later in the series.

Should be a good series. Hopefully the Pistons can take Game 2.

Ben Wallace is a trash player. What did he do to help the Cavs get past the Celts? Apparently not enough.

I believe our team is better now than when we won the championship in 04.

Im a lifelong Pistons fan, but I do view my teams from an objective position. If I thought the Celtics would stomp Detroit, I'd say it.

And whoever said Detroit wouldn't make it past round 2 in the West is a fucking idiot, consider Detroit had a better season record than ALL of the west.

I'm not saying they wouldn't.. but f they were in the West that record wouldn't be where it's at right now.. but yea definately that Pistons bench that's been much improved this year.. I still think Pistons will win the series tho, Boston is a completely diff team on the road so far in the playoffs...

it was the call against tony allen and i dont think it shoulda been called cause tony didnt touch him, at 1st i was pissed he fell for it and got caught but the replay proved he didnt touch him but who cares that shit's over now lol

i hate that western conference shit. i dunno bout pistons but celtics whooped some western ass this year. we lost to only hornets, jazz, Warriors, Nuggets and someone else i forget but all of which who was worthy oppenets but we still beat them and split the series. there wasnt onw team in the west to get the best of us and we went through the best team in the west with ease so gimma a break on that western conference shizzle.
