I originally picked the Celtics to represent the East in the finals so I gotta stick with that pick but I am worried... The Celtics can't win on the road and Detroit is capable of winning in Boston.

I got the Pistons in Six.

Detroit will come in and win game one in Boston in a very low scoring game. Boston will rebound and win game two..

The series will then go to Detroit, and since Doc Rivers doesn't see the importance of winning on the road, Detroit will win there two home games. Boston will go back and win game five, and then the Pistons will win Game Six at home to close it out.

I got San Antonio coming out of the west, even though I'd rather play the Lakers any day of the week.

I'm gonna take the Pistons in 7 cuz they have been there before and have played with each other more longer! Not to take the Celts lightly but the Pistons are most likely to win a game away more than I do the Celtics..... Either way its gonna be a good defensive match up 4 both squads!

we can win on the road. just havent yet lol. we were saving our energy and ray allen for this series alone taking all the others lightly lol. thats would be cool but doc aint that dumb to do that, or is he??? i dunno it's been a long day at work

The next two rounds are gonna severely piss off a lot of NBA fans.. You are gonna have San Antonio in the finals against either detroit or boston, which are gonna provide some low scoring games. Boston and Detroit scores will consistently be in the 80s as well.. LA/Spurs will probably be a little higher scoring.

I agree! This years finals is gonna be more defensive minded teams...... 3 of the 4 teams left in the playoff race are defensive teams! Not to take the Lakers lightly but they're more of an offensive team. Could the Spurs stop them? Who knows...... Lets see how Pop and Phil play the match ups!

I got one thing to say for ya'll Celts fans...

remember the Pats?

Boston is tired right now from playing so many games, and with little break before having to play a well rested Pistons.
alright 2 things. 1st are you trying to compare football to basketball? if so then LOL @ that

and 2nd are you trying to say the past ran out of gass in the big game? if so then LOL again. what are you trying to say?

and ask any team and they would rather play then rest cause when u rest u can rust. ask the Colts or the Cowboys lol.

Pistons weren't playing well before, it's not like they are gonna shoot worse than the 31 % or whatever they shot in Game 5.

And the Pistons have gotten Chauncey completely healthy now, which is huge for the team.

But the comparisons to the Patriots are retarded.

BTW.. Why did The Spurs/Hornets get a 3 day break between games 6 and 7 while The Celtics got the typical one day break? They could have given each team a two game break and had spent the same amount of time.. The scheduling was pretty retarded.

If rookie Rodney Stuckey is playing better off the bench for the Pistons than Ray Allen is playing for the Celtics, it's quite obvious ya'll are in trouble.

Pistons and Lakers in the Finals, with Pistons taking it all again. 2004 rematch.
LOL NOPE! Its Spurs vs. Pistons and the Spurs taking it again. 2005 rematch lmao..... J/K Who knows, I'm fuckin with u!

i have to agree with ya there. i mean i think my boys have the chance and ability to make it happen but i dont think we can beat the pistons right now. but anything can happen like if rondo steps up and allen starts hitting open shots then it will be over quick but i dunno. all i know is i didnt expect the celts where they at so the furthur we go the more i'm happy.
How could you set your expectations so low with a team of that talent. Well anyways...

I originally picked the Celtics to represent the East in the finals so I gotta stick with that pick but I am worried... The Celtics can't win on the road and Detroit is capable of winning in Boston.
I feel you but I dont think the Celtics will give Detroit a road win so I think they will take it.

Should be a decent series to watch.

i set my bar low cause i played basketball a bit to know that chemistry means alot and granted we have some good chemistry i think we're too premature for a title run this year since this is the 1st all these cats together. not setting it low just being realistic. i hope we make it all the way this year and i would be excited then a MOFO if they did, but i dont think so.

this series looks boring, low scoring game
boring? what?!?!?! this is a great defensive match up and this series will be ppl getting hit and hitting the floor. nice old school basketball like the 80's. tonight's game was awesome. the refs were eating there whistles for the most part and letting both teams play there brands of D. gotta love the win.

So you Piston fans worried yet, just like i said the Celtics matchup great against the Pistons. Since Ben Wallace left the Pistons have never been the same. They might always get back to the Conference finals but yall are in the East, yall would be lucky to get to the second round in the West.
