Yup...to me, 40 basically comes the same on each CD in terms of overall personality--it's just that the musical "settings" change from CD to CD depending on who he has producing...

BREAKING NEWS now moves me as much as E-Feezy's earlier stuff (if not more), and I can always find something "new" with each listening (i.e. some lyric I missed the first time, etc). The same goes for CHARLIE HUSTLE, LOYALTY & BETRAYAL and (to a lesser degree) GRIT & GRIND. Once you start to get into 40's more recent shit for what it is, you're hooked (at least I am)...

40's the man cause he can make cats. 40 put Turf talk on his breakin' news before people knew who he was, and not that hes huge right now but 40 did that song the soil with him and that was getting some radio play for a while, shit slaps hard! Plus, 40's a cool guy, he's always down with his fans whenever i see him around he'll always come say whatsup. Def. the ambassador of the bay hhands down!

I remember the first day I ever heard E-40 my boy played The mail man and E-40 has been my favorite artist of all time since then, I dont think ANYBODY is fuckin with E-40 he is the most creative cat to ever touch to mic.


I used to hate the fact that he did songs with these pop stars like Justin Timberlake and Nelly and Clipse but I cant hate the man for trying to gain more fans like he deserves....

i seen e-40 on soul train he was wit some r-n-b chick he spit some words at the beginning then tha chick came in wit some r-n-b type ish but it was nice then 40 water spit after and man he just exploded shit was gangsta dunno who r-n-b chick that was but id like to get that song and maybe screw n chop it up heh
