ray for me."gotta agree, this album is a huge disappointment. probably 40s worst effort in a long time. there comes a point in time when trying to go to mainstream fucks off your actual talent.

i actually didnt like this album when i first got it,now i cant stop slappin it..only thing i dont like is like how 40 talk so much of his self like that track i can sale this to that..i dont be diggin shit like that,but its just me..its an ill ass beat tho.. the rest of the album slap tho,but he had some track on it i was really feelin,sounded like sum rock n roll type shit,and im actually a big fan of rock but it just sounded horrible...
the new keak and quinn is cool, jacka's mixtape is cool.....really most of the shit the bay puts out now is trash and i just say it. i don't listen to trash nor do i support like you. i mean shit, it's obvious you listen to trash if you think this shit is nice. it sounds like every damn thing else only with 40 on it lmao. ya'll niggas on this site support everything as long as it's bay related then call everything else not bay trash which is funny because now most of the shit from bay sounds like the shit ya'll call trash lmao. you niggas is local and support these shitty albums only cause it's local.
There is not one redeeming thing about any of the songs besides 1) Pray For Me, 2) Got Rich Twice, and 3) MAYBE "Break Ya Ankles".
Otherwise, Fuck E-40. This is garbage.

Yeah, I guess im one of those people on the siccness I never thought i'd become. I guess Im one of those bitches that seems like theyre just talking shit with every post that's being made. But at the same time, maybe its because the people who have been down with this scene for so long are realizing that it really does fucking suck these days and that there needs to be some sort of catalyst or change to regenerate the life in this bay area rap scene.
Because it's just a bunch of re-hashed shit these days. And the proof comes from the fact that this entire E-40 album is a re-hash of previous shit, with the exception that it's presenting in a different, re-hashed horrible style. Even the best song, Pray For Me, is simply a re-hash of the last song on his previous CD, "Happy To Be Here", with a different stance on his situation in both cases.
Maybe im wanting too much. Maybe progressive shit isn't possible every time. And I need to accept E-40 being done with his game. But I cant do it yet. I still think he could have came with some old school sounding mobb shit that could have torn us apart (because that IS better than the new-age hyphy/bullshit/fuck/you sounding shit).
Now I have no hope.

So its okay to rehash his older stuff but not to re hash from his last album. People bitch complain that this album sounds like his last well usally if its not broke you dont fix it the last album sold 535k units and 71k units in the sf oak san jose region. E-40 is in the big leagues and you have to go with what "supposed to work" But shit dont always go the way you want it. I dont see how people cant find atleast 10 songs on here not to like. I think this is 1 of 40 better albums. People want progressive but want him to go back to his old self. That old sound dont work as everybody else who still tryin to do it and sell records in the bay. I believe the bay really dont know what they want.

people's main complaints about this album are that people supposedly say he sold out and made a pop record, look at the entire album, the full tracklist, 19 songs, there are MAYBE 4 songs on the whole album are radio or club songs, the rest are all street songs..... go buy a jumbo box of q-tips and clean your fuckin ears out
