Whats this whole thing about comparing 40 and Quinn? They are two different styles and on different levels so IMO they cant be compared. About BSJ being a complete album i agree with lenbias too many songs leaked...i can deal with a few mainstream tracks if he got more bay shit giggin beats (Rick Rock lol) but ya the leaked songs hurt this album if i hadnt heard them yet the ball street journal would have been way easier to slap..

Here's how i breakdown the Ball Street Journal:

Earl, The Ambassador, Hood Boy, Pain No More, Tell It Like it is, Pray For Me, Big Time, and Got Rich Twice are certified blappers.

Hustle, 40 Water, I'm on One, Alcoholism, Give Her the keys are good songs as well but not great.

Wake it up, is just what it was intended to be, a radio mainstream joint so i wont pass judgement on it.

I skip Poor Man's Hydraulics, Sliding Down the Pole, and I can sell it mainly for production reasons. cant get into any of those beats. overall a damn solid effort. this is comparable to some of 40's best work. a few too many guest spots but besides that, hes hittin home on every track. stayin true to who he is, charlie hustle, spreadin that street gospel. never short on game. we should all be able to agree on that.

Not sure were hearin the same album then cuz I only hear a few commercial songs on there. Tell me what you would like him to rap about? Selfish fans want there favorite artist to be 1 dimensional and those artist are not successfull.

The album is clean as fuck!

I like the whole fuckin album.

Sliding Down The Pole is going to get the bitches comin out they clothes!

If theyre is 1 complained it would be the hooks and guest features. Some are average at best. MGRC had better features.

26 here and i love what ive heard from the new album (got rich twice, ambassador, Earl, Tell it Like It Is and Pray For me as fuck as fuck!). Sure there are some radio/tracks for da bitches (one with akon, shawty and t-pain), but i aint gonna hate on e40 for having a few tracks for da bitches on this cd. The mob sounding tracks are hot. Cant wait to hear the whole cd!

love the album, with everybody on wishing a lot of it wasn't leaked though (or wish I had the self control to not listen to leaked tracks) cuz it makes the album not seem fresh.

only songs I could have done without is "break ya ankles" (typical throwaway lil jon) and "slidin down the pole" (garbage, throw it on a soundtrack or something). other than that, i'm feelin the rest of the album. always hype for some new 40...coppin it first thing monday

glad to see b-legit on the album, wish turfy had maybe another verse somewhere, would have liked to see another track like "northern califoolya" with quinn and mess and keak...or just another 40/keak/rick rock song cuz they have never made a bad song together

also I hope the mastering is better than what i heard...some of the tracks were up and down, and it was from a grouprip so it's pretty reliable on the consistency (although a retail CD is always a lil crisper no matter how high of a bitrate your mp3s got).

I aint gonna lie, I downloaded it. I cant afford to buy it right now with my daughter needing shit right now. This cd Slaps though. So far I like most of the tracks. By Far Im Hella Feelin That Alcoholism Track. That shit was just fuckin Ridiculous! and my Subs thank you for Break ya Ankles and Poor Mans Hydraulics. I think the track EARL would have been my fav track had ICE T had a verse on it. I was hella dissapointed when he just spoke on that track. Overall Still a Dope ass album and still my second fav Track!

this shit is wack.....dope if you're a kid or a grown ass man still thinking he's a kid. im convinced niggas here just want some bullshit to ride around with for the moment. like some microwave music thats hot for the moment with not substance. nothing quality that'll last for a long time like quinn's album cause this shit is no different than the bullshit on tv just has e-40 instead of one of those lame ass south niggas
