30,000+ Units 1st Week out Independently in these times in the Music Industry and in this Economy is Great!

The album was Undershipped to the stores and has been Sold Out in most major stores since the day of it's release.

It's hard to judge the sales because there's so many different versions of the albums and they all go to SoundScan and Billboard seperately so they have to all be added up to a total #.

I'll never understand e40, even back when he released his last cd's with jive... everytime a CD would come out most stores would be sold out. You'd think by now he would learn to SEND MORE CD'S!

but he probably is happy with those numbers, its always been slow and steady sales with them.
40 and the label has no control on how many units retailers order. Yes the last 3 albums have all been under ordered from the retailers and sold out at most locations on the west coast during the first week.. Theses retail stores are getting more and conservative every day. Do you really think that the buyer of music from best buy or target truly understand how big 40 is on the west coast? More then likely not.

so these came under heavy on the grind ent? whos label is that? and why didnt he release em on sick wid it?
Droop E label is heavy on the grind. Droop label has a distro deal threw EMI. Dont get it fucked up 40 could have signed with just about any major label out there after his Warner deal expired but for what reason when he just did 3k less units then he did 16 months ago on a major.

am i the only one that thinks this number is kinda sad?
PERSONALLY I THOUGHT 40 WOULD'VE DONE A BIT MORE IF THE STORES ORDERED MORE COPIES... BUT THE TRUTH OF THE MATTER IS MOTHAFUCKAZ AREN'T BUYING RECORDS ENOUGH TO KEEP THE SELLS HIGH..

He shouldve did one solid album with 18 songs, both albums were not well put together. Soooo many beats sounded the same. Ball street journal with one disc was better than both albums; Ive been a 40 fan my whole life never not bought a 40 album, but this time around I was not impressed. Gotta love 40 but both albums were not it
