Is there any specific reason (business or street politics) why the coldest mouthpiece from Northern Cali (E-40), has never collaborated with the most successful producer from Southern Cali (Dr. Dre)????????? I personally feel Dr. Dre and E-40 should have collaborated long before 40 hooked up with Lil John. I just can't understand this, as a lifelong fan and supporter of West Coast Rap and Hip-Hop.

E-40 and Dr. Dre would be a great collaboration no doubt. Maybe on Dre's next album he could throw in E-40 on a song that would be a start. Their are many artists out their I would love to see work together.

e-40's been on a dre beat before. it was a remix to a blu cantrell song, i forgot the name of the song. but she literally jacked the "what's the difference" beat from the 2001 lp. she sings on it and he raps at the end. i heard this drivin' through el paso, texas 3 years ago, but i never heard it in cali. i never heard e-40 get so hype either!

yall trippin, dre still makes beats that turn into hit songs, theres a reason for that. he's a skilled producer imo, cuz dude can do r and b beats, gangsta rap, hip-hop, movie scores and shit like that. is and always be a beast on the boards.

the problem is that i don't wanna hear hits...i like diggin out tracks that are not played on billboard. i don't jam dr. dre produced tracks anymore...and if you're listening to dre beats you seem to slap g-unit, eminem and the gayme. ^^ just kidding, but i'm serious bout these commercial ass dre beats. fuck dre's new style of producing i stick to the underground.

Dre hasnt even came out inna long ass time. How can u judge him on shit now. If Detox comes out wack, then it would be easier to say that he fell off.

C'mon homie, if anybody Dr. Dre would be the last to make them commercial beats. Just because he produced for 50 cent n' shit dont mean he changed anything, you can still tell when its a Dr. Dre beat even when you dont know who produced it. Thats how you know he didnt change shit.

really do you think that 40 would just jump on some shitty beat that was produced. he has to make money. you dont see him just jumping on some bullshit that is thrown at him. dre would more that likely work with something that 40 would want also if there was ever any collab.
