RIAA is the last people you want trouble with, they are probably into shit because of file sharing. Thats what the RIAA looks for, if the siccness was smart they would stop letting people from putting those yousendit links on there or they could get slammed too.

Since Dubcnn is run by people out of the UK can they really get in that much trouble? If their host was in the US then I could see the host getting in trouble but I dont really understand what can be done when shit is international.

There are so many ways around the yousendit...fileshare...rapidshare links.

They should do this. It stops alot of bots(what RIAA uses to find shit like this)


DONT GET YOUR LINK STOLEN BY BOTS - GUARANTEED TO WORK - Replace a letter in your download link with a "*". Now find that letter somewhere on Siccness (on Siccness main page, somewhere in your profile, another thread on Siccness - make sure its somewhere on Siccness) and in your post say where you can find that letter.

example: http://yaho*.com - Replace * with second letter in this sites name (lowercase or uppercase)
example: http://google.com/blah.php?ID=gsdf32*asd - Replace * with the first letter in my profile where it says "Album I'm bumpin" (lower case)

what i dont understand is Dubcnn gets permission from artist to post that shit! there should be no reason why they took that fuckin site down! they should follow procedure and remove the site when the investigation is done!

its funny how fuckin rules and laws get bent easily. now if the site gets shut down just re name it too

the thing about those sites is they host music on their own servers. with yousendit or rapidshare, thats just a (legal) link to the file on a different server. for example, if your house is a dope spot the feds can shut you down, but if you got a sign on your house that says 'dope spot two houses down on the left' then you cant get busted for running a dope spot. siccness is safe.

I think its just a hacker or some shit trying to make fun cause ...

a) ... the RIAA logo you see on top is on the dubcnn server, I cant imagin the RIAA would put it up like that if they would do it with every site it would be a hell off a job they would just leave it on there own server and link it to there.

b) ... if you look in the source you see the site is created with Frontpage ... I cant imagin RIAA web people using a easy program like Frontpage, they might use dreamweaver since its industry standart but frontpage ... nahhh!
