Drake got a way with his wordplay that I find damn near genius.

I dont know him as a person, just listen to some of his music from time to time...a track here...a track there.

Wayne too as far as Sorry for the Wait and Carter 4 goes.

you know what would be better for the bay than paying homage....a feature maybe? I mean dont get me wrong I would appreciate it as a bay rapper to have a mainstream rapper show love in a video or name drop someone from the bay...but if mainstream rappers have so much love for the bay...why not offer them a verse on track?=$.02

Folks could hate all they want. Alot of his shit ain't my kinda music but U cant deny his talent. Dudes on top of the game Right now and is showin the bay love. Some folks jus hate cuz they hop on the hate on the mainstream artist bandwagon

i could give a shit less, but from a business prospective, this is a good move for BOTH parties involved.

like stated, a feature would be better, but from a relatively unknown would be great. or bring a couple of the best, ie nicky t, mob figaz, 40, short, etc

Don't quote me on it, but with the little I know, artists under major record contracts can't freely lay down verses with anybody. That in itself involves paperwork upon paperwork.

On the other hand, I want to hear an authentic collaboration. There's tons of artists I respect the hell out of, but my head might be in a different place then the artist's when I'm creating a beat. I don't want an artist to be on a song that was treated as a charity case. Drake working with E-40? As much as I admire both artists, I couldn't imagine the chemistry. Who knows, though?
