What is supposed to do? Kobe can't win. If he shoots too much, he is a ball hog. If he tries to get his scrub ass teammates involved, they brick shot after shot.
What you fail to realize is he is socred 81 points in the FLOW OF THE GAME. Its not like he said fuck ya'll, I'm not passing. He tried the team thing and it didnt work. So he took the team on his back and GOT HIS TEAM BACK INTO THE GAME. What is so hard to understand about that? he brought his team back from a double digit deficit.
The Lakers management just plain sucks. It's funny though how people overlook the fact that buss refused to pay Shaq, yet blame Kobe for running him off. People forget when Shaq went off in pre season game talking about pay me when he was running up the court. People forget this older big man who was losing a step wanted 30 mil a year to play.
Bottom line it doesnt matter. It has been a few years post Shaq, Mitch Kupcake should have been able to get a better team assemmbled. Who the fuck would give Kwame Brown 9mil a year besides his dumb ass. Or give Radmonivc the full mid level exception?

I am a huge Kobe fan. But I try to be as objetive as possible. Scoring 81 points WONT win you anything. I agree with that. Scoring 81 is an amazing feat though and one that cant just be brushed off. But it is better when you score that many points AND bring your team back from a double digit deficit and lead your team to victory.
The lakers have ZERO talent around them. Back when they rattling off championships, they had the perfect role players. Rick Fox KNEW he would never be the star of the Lakers. But he would have his chance to shine. Same with Fisher and all the other people who made names for themselves as great complimentary pieces during that run.
Now, there have been so many games where Kobe will go let the game come to him and get his teammates involved and they throw brick after brick. Bynum drops the ball in the paint....turnover.
Back on topic. You cant be the owner who traded Kobe AND Shaq. So that will never happen. He is just paying lip service. They wouldnt be able to fill that stadium with those high ass ticket prices wit no Kobe. No one wants to watch Odom and Bynum and scrub ass Kwame Brown
