The difference is, 1 person buys it rips it n gives it out to thousands...or sometimes millions of people, but if those people that downloaded the album bought the album, thats a BIG DIFFERENCE

Think of it this way, say an artist released a album, if downloading music didnt exist, then that artist would make twice as much money then he would if it did exist, cuz people would have no other choice but 2 buy an album artist's to bump they shit, n because the artist is makin more money that makes him/her more confident in thier music n they would release more albums n etc....

and if the music wasnt out there, then the artist wouldnt get the expsure where thousands or millions of people want to bumb their shit. i agree with you that the scale is differnet for the used market compared to the online market, but that doesnt meant that the principle is.

i never understood why people get so mad at folks downloading music, but dont give a fuck if they buy used albums, either way your getting the product without paying the artist.
