Domain/Email problem... HELP!!!(directed at those with their own website)

ive finally gotten my own domain (not gon be finished designing for a lil bit) and i cant use outlook to get my email from my domain. i went into the cpanel and used the auto config outlook express and installed that shit and everythang should work fine but 2 things dont work. ive tried contacting the webhost but theyre not really helpin. here are my errors....

it was auto configged as that and the webhost told me they were that

i got $18 a year 50 meg size, 2 gig* bandwidth. already payed the whole year, i dont really plan on using the site much until the summer (depends on what happens) and when i need more space/bandwidth ill upgrade

it should be:

name+domain.com

yup thats my login, it also said if "+" didnt work try @, % and maybe 1 other symbol but i tried them all.

btw the host guarantees 99.6% uptime, they also registered the domain for $8 and and accept money orders so my no credit card ass could pay with that! i heard from sum1 else that theyre good and cheap, thats how i found em. www.primeplans.com

Try going to the account's properties in outlook and clicking on the advanced tab. See if the ports are set to default and none of the SSL boxes are checked.

I think Ive found the reason for my error. I searched for the error # online and found that my isp could be causing my problems. im using a free service provider right now so i figured that lack of service from them would be it. i searched their site and found this...

lol tony.i know what it is, i had the same problem with earthlink. you have to set the send mail server to your isp address. ex: i had to set my smtp to mail.earthlink.net instead of my mail.slapshack.com. It worked perfectly after. Try that. 1
