Seattle is the Town in my eyes, not Oakland. I was bangin' in Seattle during the '90's when shit really popped off. The town has calmed down because everywhere you go there's 10 cops for every single person it seems.
Plus, we got all these fake cats runnin' around claimin' 8-ball (Folks and Crips) or some shit. back in the day Folks and Bloods got along in the town for the most part and beefed with the rips. Now I see hit ups on the walls with "8-Ball" "Folks and Crips". That shit is a disgrace to my city and my side of the coast.

Seattle and Tacoma are the places I've seen more shit pop off and I been all over. For me, Seattle is the hardest place because I'm known out here and all of my enemies are out here. I go to other places to chill or make scratch.

The "74 Hoover Crips" gang is one of the largest, if not the largest street gang in the Seattle area. Law enforcement estimates the gangs membership at around 200, but I have been told by other sources membership is closer to 1,000 members. The 74 Hoovers have three main territories. Rainier & Othello in the "Southend", West Seattle and along Pacific Highway South between the cities of Sea-Tac to Federal Way.
The 74 Hoovers are one of the most active gangs in Seattle when it comes to violence and crimes. In November of 2005 the DEA, ATF and local law enforcement arrested several members on drug and weapon charges. Seized in the investigation were 20 vehicles, 23 guns, 2 kilograms of cocaine, oxycodone, marijuana and more than $250,000 dollars in cash. Reports show they were moving more than 20 pounds of cocaine every five days that came from a supplier in Yakima, Washington.
With-in the 74 Hoovers gang are individual "families" that go by differnt names. Each family is ran by a different "OG". But in the end they all claim alliance with the 74 Hoover Crips. Depending on what family you run with, your street name coincides. For example (Fat Ratt, Lil' Spoon, Tiny C) I would like to point out, not all 74 Hoover members are part of these families.
One last thing. I've noticed an increasing amount of Hoover gang members claiming "Criminal" instead of Crips. Most of these guys will wear the color orange sometimes mixed with blue.
