Nobody out here (northern cali) is going to refer to their city as "the town" cuz everybody knows thats oakland.
And im not talking about referrin to a familiar place.. i mean just in general as a nickname.. like LA is la la land or los skanless like frisco is the city like nyc is the big apple etc.... and honestly i never heard anyone call seattle "the town" what you mean is saying something like "im heading back to the town" or something but never on some aka shit.. if you spend any time in the bay you know what i mean..

I grew up in the Central District, lived on Henderson, Cherry, Genessee, Union, Yesler, every hood damn there, you will get got if you from out of town and nigga's don't know you. I seen L.A. niggas get robbed for there shoes on the backetball court, NY niggas get they shit split, this dude from New Orleans (once was murder capital) he was trying to get his hustle on up here and said niggaz in the southend(Kingway)niggaz are bugged out, I mean homie listen to Westcosta Nostra the song they got with David Banner, he even mentions the Central District and how niggaz get down up here, you better be glad you wasn't around when the SCM and BC shit got hectic when 1 side couldn't go to the other side of the town. I mean you said you was on Cherry but that's the outter part of the CD, nigga go to Duece 8 by Parnell's the bottom or visit the valley, since you lookin for trouble but my advise go visit the spaceneedle or chill downtown next time you visit don't become a statistic..... 1
I wuz out there for a week around Oct. of '01... I went out there to visit my boy... One of the folks out there had glass eye, cuz he tried to rob a baller and got it shot out... The other folks was the baller and he in the pen now after gettin popped witta a couple briks... The last night I was there a fool got jumped outside the bar we wuz at... And the day after I left, one of their homeboys, a crip, knocked some fool out... Other than that, beautiful city... It is wut it iz... I don't take any spot on the face of the earth too lightly
