I don't know about seattle but my homeboys from Tacoma and he said that shits pretty grimy. I've heard that from a couple people.

I believe Tacoma and Spokane have HIGHER crime rates PER CAPITA...than Seattle..

(Tacoma ghettos) MLK Jr. Way on the Hilltop, 56th & McKinley, 72nd & Mckinley, Portland Avenue, Salishan projects.

(Yakima ghettos) Pretty much all areas east of 1st Street to the city limits, areas in North Yakima along Fairbanks, Cherry, Roosevelt, Mckinley and Garfield Avenue’s.

I grew up in South Park and that place got pretty bad for a couple of years and I thought it was getting better... but after going down there this weekend I can see a lot of people are up to the same ol shit and nothings really changed. south park can get pretty grimey... almost all of my friends never wanted to walk to the store with me night. shit even in the day. south park and certain parts of the central district are the only places i really consider "ghetto", since none of the money gets recycled into the community and the crime is pretty bad

Boradway aint ghetto...it does house alot of homeless and junkies...but Broadway is a main strip with stores/resturaunts/banks and a CC...a shitload of apartment bulidings and a hospital campus...and home of 1 of 5 Dick's Drive-In Burgers locations..

The Central District is technically the hood...its prodominataly african american...most people that live there have lived there all their lives and passed down generations...alot of black owned business's...and home to the best fried chicken in the state..Ezell's Famous Chicken...

Places like Southpark in West Seattle..is ghetto...straight up dirty and cheap, fucked up houses right next to old steel mills...

Places like Holly Park(Southend),Rainier Vista(Southend/Beacon Hill) and Yesler Holmes(First Hill/CD) are the projects....low income housing...

hahaha man the cd for those that dont keep up,..has and is going thru gentrscation ,,...when s hood gets so bad everyone moves out and land devlopers buy it cheap and rasie the price,..i see a lot of white people there now,....starbucks and all kinda chit,...some with holly park,..the places are really stating to look all clean and nice,..rainer is no longer the blue dueplexing i moved into when i frist came here,....hella azn people its flat on one side and rather nice on the other now 1st hill still got the jackson apts,..i use to work there,...and a hooker on the 13th floor tryed to sell me some head,...i told her do you have a cupon i can give to a friend?...they need it more then me,...now white center,..my homie said a joke that maybe only n/w heads will get but,...he goes" yeah i'm from white center,...not so white,..not so centered,....",...i was weak!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
