Do You Whup Your Kid(s)?

U was just down right abused & ur moms is the reason why the laws have changed so much over the years. She's the reason why the average parent gets caught up for trying 2 dicsipline their children.
When I was going thru my divorce/child custody battle my ex-wife told the courts I spank my daughter & they light wieght tripped. The laws are so fucked up from a few bad parents where the courts try to dictate how 2 punish my own. I still kick ass when its needed. The courts didn't stop shit.

Thank god that child psychologists don't have the authority to make any rules about corporal punishment then.
You are raising a child, and hitting them is one form of teaching. You hit a grown person that you aren't raising and thats just assault.

because parenting has to do with more than just beating kids u can raise em right doin it either way

My dad beat my moms ass and it wasnt right but I can say that if I got spanked it was after I got warned more then a few times. the one thing I cant understand is how parents curse there kids out and shit and everything else but got the nerve to get mad when there kids go to school acting a fucking fool. theres a fine line between a swat on the ass and just beating the dog shit out of your kid. I got whipped and came out fine. graduated from high school, no criminal record, no anything, but my cousin on the other hand got his ass whipped too but hes a fuck up. dropped out of high school, got a record, and everything else so it has different effects for everybody.
Discipline isn't the deciding factor; IMO, it's the example you set. After a while, kids get used to the ''spankings''...my cousins were beat with everything imaginable when we were kids, and I don't mean a ''swat''...I mean, bloody, blistered asses. Period. And you know...none of them are ''pillars of the community''...LOL.
So I guess you take it on a case by case basis. I, personally, don't ''beat'' my kids, but a spanking can and will happen; the difference is I use an open hand, on the ass, period. I don't use a stick, or a hanger, or any other foreign object. But I TALK to my kids, first...they need to know right from wrong, and the consequences to their actions.

I dont have any kids.. but I will discipline them physically when neccessary when i do have them..
I used to get the belt from pops.. and mom would use a wooden spoon or something.. i was a bad ass little kid tho
as far as yall sayin about asians bein bad about beatin their kids.. i remember when i was like 13 my asian homie had got caught stealing from the mall and his dad found out.. his dad tied him up in a chair to a tree in the front yard and whipped his ass with an extension cord... a gang of us kids across the street laughing and shit but damn we felt bad for our friend hahah

My good friend in 6th grade was japanese, he came to school one time tired and depressed looking, i say hey jeff, whats the deal.
Apparently he was arguing with his little brother at bed time and woke his dad up. He bust into the room, whooped both of they asses, and took them down to their cold dusty basement where they were forced to stand against a cold wall until 2 am, and if they tried to sit or move they would get hit.

man back in the day i stayed over someones house..yknow how kids used to do, youd stay over ya homies house and play nintendo all night and shit. well anyways we were acting a fucking fool jumping off of beds and shit and dudes dad was in the military. this mutha fucka made us put out hands against the walls and stand like that for hours.
i never went over that kids house again
