No "dumbfuck", it's pretty widely accepted that bending your kid over your knee and giving them a couple whaps on the behind isn't abuse. Most parents don't want to hurt their kids and just cup their hands so that when it hits the diaper it makes a popping noise that scares them more than hurts.

yea i agree with evil genius. i dont like hittin or nothin but like he said. theres a difference between PHYSICALLY ABUSING a child and DICIPLINE. id never slap my son across the face or anythin but i will spank him. if hes actin up and has been told numerous times to stop it and he dont listen, i dont see whats wrong with a slap on the butt. i hardly ever spank my son its rare, it mostly happens when hes acting up and hits me when hes told to stop. not every kid needs a spankin tho. kids are different. some listen others dont. to each his own tho. just my opinion.

well i didnt say i was gonna BEAT my kid. its not like ima punch my son in the face if hes actin up. it just depends on ur kids. but i do agree with the fact that spankin ur children shouldnt be the ONLY way u can dicipline ur child. i try to avoid it as much as possible, but sometimes kids just need a slap on the ass. everyone has different ways of raising their children tho. so im not gonna say people who think different are bad parents.
