wtf? i mean people seem to all be in their own world in today's world. go to a coffee shop and there will be like 25 people on their laptops not saying one word to another.

take a bus and 75% of the people have ipods and pay no attention to anything around them.

people are online like 12 hours out the day whether its on their laptop, pc, blackberry, iphone.

i just think all the constant technology kinda kills peoples social skills. like people are forgetting how to actually talk to people.

twitter and facebook shit like that probably are a bit, especially twitter. I briefly spoke on this in a different thread where there are studies going on that are showing people are less and less capable of long thoughts, everything is short thoughts (because their daily lives revolve around twitter, instant message, text, etc.)

I think it definitely is. I think that with email and text messaging that auto corrects your words or basically spells them for you, it's not doing anyone any good. Though, you could make the case that it's the way of the future and you won't really need to know how to spell, just as long as you can read. Either way, that's scary.

Also, all the abbreviations that people use like lmao, brb, wtf, and crap is getting outta hand.

Cell phones can piss me off, when people are on their phones texting/chating while ignoring conversation in the room... This happens more and more it seems... I don't use a cell phone, because I think my computer does enough to take me away from reality, at times... I sometimes like to listen to what others are saying...

I'm one of the few people that doesn't have a cell phone. At least it feels that way. There's minor things that sucks about not having one but it's better to keep my $100 per month. I also don't like having 2 things in collections on my credit report with an extra $300 on there for early termination fees.

If I misspell something the first couple of times, the auto-correct feature will help me learn how to spell it... It's the process of repeat, and remember...

There's some anthropoplogical studies on the topic, I'll try to find a few that I was reading. The twitter shit pisses me off, I can't get no good pussy sometimes because my girl is on that shit non-stop even if we're in the bed.

Well if a nigga can't let loose wit the sicc, let em at least hit quick ya'know?!
believe me, I've been there. I used to meet random girls online, or not so random girls would come over and I'd thrash it and send them on their way. Jump right back on the siccness. I'm not proud of it, but I've been there.

My wife is addicted to Facebook. Seems like she looks at the same 19 pictures of her and her friends and they comment back and forth. No real significance. Most of the comments are "you look so hot girl" "thanks, you too doll" etc... At least the siccness makes me laugh most of the time

i honestly get bored with siccness at times. It seems like everyone posts the same shit over and over. what really irritates me about the siccness is that on bart it's like the majority of people on here only comment and post in threads about the same artists over and over again. ive tried to post shit about completely random artists whose music i enjoy and it might get 5 posts at the most. a thread about berner or awax will get like 50 posts in one day. it's very bizarre.
