I know sometime back Tech was being interviewed on a radio show 95.7 in CT and he was talking about the kabosh album. I would think with all the references he makes including on killer (shit is real) , that the album is at the least in the works currently.
I'm sure Tech is due to step in anytime soon and throw some words in, I haven't seen him post in a while anyways, we are due.

i hope it sounds like detox. a sound that no one will ever hear
hahaha

It seems like its already happening with the material that was already put out on the sampler, but whether the whole project gets finished/released is a mystery to me
Do you mean Little Pills and Shit is Real? I don't think either are a real indication of it happening because they were in essence just beats with a live electric guitar.

But I really hope it happens.

I THOUGHT LITTLE PILLS WAS AMAZING...
I couldn't agree more. Had it as my ringtone for the longest time.

Because of all the delays and non-released albums we've seen from Strange over the past 6 years I never thought we'd get to hear Kabosh. But they were quite impressive this year, releasing several albums. Hopefully we'll see more of the same in 2009.

Haha if they consistently put out shit in 09 like they did 08, life would be good..

but anyways.. shit is real was pretty damn weak in my opinion.. mainly due to the chorus, it just felt so empty and lacking in all areas.

little pills on the other hand, i fuckin loved...

personally I think tech is growing larger an larger on the rap side of shit, and he should just try to expand more in that area. put out sickology. put out another album...

then when he is "done" with rap, he can focus on other ventures, such as kabosh.

just wait......... it will happen..... they have a solid distribution deal now......... so from what i understand you have to meet a certain quota as far as albums being released each year.. so projects will be released each year

trust me kabosh is coming just wait

After hearing Shit Is Real, I pretty much lost all hope for that venture, not to say that I didn't already start to lose interest in it before-hand. No offense to Matic or anything because I love his beats, but that one was just weak as fuck, along with Mr Stinky (a suitable name) and the weak chorus...ugh. It just seems like an idea right now. Sure, they did a few songs with a "rock vibe" and released them, and that right there leads me to believe that they're just messing around with the concept rather than trying to make something out of it. I doubt it will ever come out, contrary to what other people think or may know, I just can't see it happening. Pretty funny how the last time we heard ANYTHING about Kabosh was on Killer, then after Killer's release, here comes Sickology and nothing but talk about it, while Kabosh is taking a backseat, just like "Isms" did (which I gave up on a LONG time ago). We can only hope that they eventually do it, and do it right.

tech implied in the intro to little pills that kabosh would be his finale & if you look up kabosh on urbandictioanry.com it's defined as "to end something"
coincidence..? maybe

Tech on Kabosh said:
& then, last but not least, me and big krizz kaliko bout venture into this rock shit, it's called kabosh, yano when you put the kabosh on someone it's like the end, like if a bitch is trippin' you be like imma put a kabosh on that bitch ... this is the kabosh, this is kabosh, everything stops after this, me & krizz kaliko, kabosh baby
imo tech is insinuating that kabosh is going to be his last hurrah; which is fine by me, as long as it happens eventually :paranoid:

Isms became MLK. Just not the songs we wanted. And all those have been released elsewhere since then.
