another reason i dont really save roaches...is because i save at home well.
i have one of those for 95 percent of the times im smoking. i only smoke a blunt on road trips (ill make a blunt out of the 5-6 i smoke in 4 hours), with other people (its their house, their roach), or on special occasions (it all gets smoked).
Now that im a little older i know little marijuana tricks of the trade..and i save in so many ways that a roach is insignifigant and going too far..plus tobacco tainted weed isnt my goal..ive learned some people are 'blunt addicts' and not really potheads..im a pothead..
let me illustrate..
thats a grinder. no thc crystals are lost on your hand breakin shit up, it all goes though small holes, and onto a mesh screen. you can break up weed for a blunt in less than 5 seconds. but from all the times ive used it, ive 'saved' alot of weed by using this.
alot of times i wont finish a bowl because im high way before it gets dark brown. i store it in the top compartment. In an hour or two ill put it back in, and get high off of it again, maybe a third time.
you probably cant tell what this is...but this is the bottom of my grinder, underneath the screen. thats a mixture of marijuana oil, loose thc crystals, kief ive made by rubbing small pieces of weed i find in empty sacks, and small pieces of leaf for volume. sometimes if i dont finish a bowl liek up top, ill just make low grade kief with it to add on to my 'emergency shit'...whats pictured, that alone can get me high 5-6 different times.its pretty much comparible to good hash, just isnt pressed.
this is the end result when i use my vaporizer. the weed is hella dark brown. it still has some thc in it, esp because i really only smoke kush. so i save it in a bottle. 7 grams of that, two or three spoonfulls of butter, simmered in a double boiler on the stove for 45 minutes...then make some food that requires butter liek maybe rice and beans, shrimp, baked potato, toast, etc etc...that recipe has gotten me high for an entire day to the point where i didnt need to smoke. and when i mean an entire day i mean 10am till 7pm.
and thats why i flick out roaches. because i could probably get high for an entire week without weed.
and im in no way bragging! i just learned how to really get the most out of the weed. maybe ya learned somethin. a 70-80 dollar investment and a little knowhow could actually make you save twice the amount of money you spend on weed..for years..'if your like me..thats alot of money..and i all the sudden have like 200 dollars more than i used to every 2 weeks.
