NOT RLY, IT'S THE TERM THAT THERES ONLY ONE GOD. IT'S THE SAME GOD JEWS BELIEVE IN, CHRISTIANS, MUSLIMS, ECT
THE CHRISTIAN FUNDAMENTAL[SP] IS THAT THEY BELIEVE JESUS IS THE SON OF GOD. MUSLIMS ON THE OTHER HAND, BELIEVE GOD DOESNT HAVE ANY PARTNERS BUT IS WHOLE HIMSELF.
THEY[MUSLIMS] DO HOWEVER, BELIEVE IN JESUS, DAVID, ABRAHAM, MOSES, MOHAMMED ECT BUT AS HIS PROPHETS OR MESSENGERS WHEN THEY SPREAD THAT RELIGION
ISLAM WAS THE RELIGION THAT MUHAMMAD SPREAD WHERE JESUS SPREAD CHRISTIANITY AND SO ON..
I DONT SPEAK ARABIC SO I DONT KNO WHAT THAT LAST QUESTION WAS
i know what allah means, i've been to a musalah, and i've converted to islam. haha, i know lil dan, but thank you for explaining.
you are still incorrect, because the fundamentalist christians believe that the muslims are incorrect for various technical reasons, if they didn't, wouldn't they all be the same religion?
and even in islam, there are different sects, some believe God/Allah is sitting on a throne, but that is not valid since Allah is not anything of human form, and therefore could not be sitting.
OF course in muslims eyes, the christian and jews are CLOSER to truth since they believe in one of the book religions, and therefore explains why it is allowed for a muslim man to marry a christian woman or jewish(but that has changed for many families because of the israel/palestine conflict)
but the whole point of my question was not to explain islam to folks here, but to try to point out that there is much more technicality to consider rather than grouping it up in the west's technical terms of what God is.
I believe in God/gods/Allah/Brahman, lol. i am blasphemous according to all religions but right now i am actually abiding by all their "rules" pretty well(except islam, because its fucking hot and i'm wearing shorts goddamnit) not because i'm scared of the "hell" that awaits me, but because i feel this is the right path for myself.
God is the magic within all that is. IMO, i don't gotta pray to God, but i do wish well unto others because i know i have that power, because God is within me.
