yea i should have worded that better...people have committed atrocities in the name of religion...but also along those lines, i believe in god but i dont want to worship wrong, and every relegion worships differently, with even division among each one, and all the words of god no matter what religion have been twisted over the years. i believe in the main things that is be good to others, dont steal, do not kill, do not sleep with another mans wife, and the common sense things that is spoken in all teh words, you know the stuff that even a idiot can see is the best way to treat people. everyone takes what they want from the bibles or twists the words into his own ideals, but i think that everyone can agree if we applie the common sense bible teachings you would get along better in life

Man, how do you live on day by day thinking like that? I honestly would eventually off myself if I thought like you. I have to believe in a God and a Heaven, its the only thing that gets me through this troubling life. I have to look forward to something in the end... otherwise why live? PPl would be killing themselves left and right if they didn't have anything to believe in. I hate this life I live each day, the suffering, the hurt, the loneliness I feel, it all sucks but I wish to believe that I will be rewarded someday for my struggles. The day I die will be a reward in itself because I will be done w/ this miserable fucking life, but I would like to think there is somewhere we go other then the ground, like a heaven w/ a God that can make every single one of us happy, ya know?

Believing really does help ppl cope w/ life... at least for me it does.
