What's the point of even waisting money pressin' up CD's? If you can get money from touring and doing shows, why put yourself in a position of having to sell a certain number just to break even? If you don't press any CD's your already even, minus the cost of producing the album. People have to become more creative when it comes to making money nowadays.

I try to stick to downloading only singles that are released for hype, free mixtapes (like the sig) and rare or out of print albums. I don't buy alot of albums now because a lot of them aren't worth it these days. Some people say I'm weird for this but it also feels good to have the actual disc, cover(s), all the production details and shit in your hands. Don't get me wrong tho I don't go sniffing Tupac covers (haha who said they did that? I forgot)

For the most part, I buy albums. On the rare occasions that I happen to download, its only a few songs. Thats just to get an idea of what that cd is like. Downloading an entire cd seems pointless to me, unless its rare/hard 2 find.

i still buy. not as much as before but i still do. i believe in buyin just for the fact that whether it's cds, tapes or vinyl, you get the full effect of who you're buyin versus downloadin it and only gettin the songs. wit a cd you get to know more of where the person's comin from unless it's one of them hustled cd's wit no info on the inserts. but most people don't do that too much anymore unless they askin for somebody not to buy any of they shit again. but i like to also support the artist that be on the streets sellin their cds unless they try to sell me something that's a cdr which i ran into that situation a couple of times. tight shit but on a cdr, its like you gotta grill in yo mouth and some new kicks but can't spend a lil sumthin to press it up? but anyways i'm pretty much not a downloader unless i'm on myspace and people are lettin you download they song for a listen lol. but im a big supporter of goin to the store and buyin it. goin online and downloadin it takes the fun outta goin somewhere to get a cd that you been waitin for to come out. and even tho downloadin is big right now i have a feelin that it wont be big for too long. kinda like a full circle thing.
